One is curved one is normal so gripping the phone is easier with the a50. Remember the old LG's? LG G3 or G4 Beat kinds. Their back was curved (but they were thick so they evened theirselves out)

The size of A8 2018 or similar (like S10e, iPhone X) is so sompact for todays standard and still convenience.

My habds are big tbh and its still somehow hard to grip it. Having it rest on your hand is also near impossible because its slippery
On the camera department, they both lack OIS so its left to users hand being rock steady and well almost no one can hold their hands up in the air like a rock

Don't bother about camera as long as it take reasonable quality photo, not i am a professional photographer.

Yes, A50 win for its secondary/triple rear camera but, for me, it is for fun only. Well at least, it is better to have than not to have the additional features. It (i.e. the sharpness, etc) is truly depend on AI, not the lens of camera. What I like A8 2018 camera is that the color is more natural than A50.
Bigger screen yes, but not a better one. Thin bezel yes, that is why I say A50 has trendy display and A8 2008 has old fashioned display.
Lighter and nice to hold.....of couse A50 is lighter as it use glass, plastic frame and plastic back, A8 2018 use glass, metal frame and glass back. Nice to hold well it depend on the hand, small hand or big hand.
UDFPS...not right now, I prefer rear FPS but I prefer Xiaomi' one than Samsung's one for this case.

Camera is not good. Photo from both front and rear camera is processed too much, which gives a bad result. Photos from A50 are worse than from my old Galaxy Note5, bad edges, too much noise.

This seems seems susceptible to fracture and display failure owing to large display size according to certain online videos.
I am looking forward to purchase this mobile.
I would like to know any thoughts of current users beforehand.

Anonymous, 10 Apr 2019aim for an s10e or a galaxy s9 insteadIts too much here in my country. Samsung s9 is 100-150€ more and samsung s10e is way more than samsung s9. I would definitely choose it if i have more money, I need something which cost no more than 350€.
