Because if damage happen you cannot make any claim for Warranty issue. And for your kind info no smartphone is water-proof even flagship. There is simple mention "Water and dust resistant"
This is IP68 rating disclaimer by Samsung for S10
Based on test conditions for submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. Not advised for beach or pool use. Water or dust damage not covered by warranty.

Galaxy A50 is not water-dust resistant. I am using this device from last 1 month. There is NO mention in user manual. You can check on the official website.
IP67 submerge device up to 1 metre
IP68 submerge device upto 1.5 metre.
GALAXY A50 is neither IP68 or IP67. It is not WATER-DUST resistance.

SAMSUNG use some tricks to name it 9610 so that we think that it is a flagship processor only.

To recogn... moreAccording to user manual:It needs some pressure so your fingerprint becomes readable for the optical sensor,it is not a camera,more like a scanner.
Also, you should use a big finger to cover the whole scanner.
So for everyone facing problems,just clear old fingerprints,do the software update,save your fingerprints and follow tips (look up my comment) while doing so, it will become better.

nice phone but too gimmicky...... in-display fingerprint is way too slow, plastic build ??? we are in 2019 ! and the camera has tons of megapixels but the s8's camera wipes the floor with this one. complaints aside, this phone is good, even for the A series.....but samsung can do better :)

A50 user, 08 Apr 2019Shitest finger print scanner you can ever get. It doesn't work on first time everClear all your fingerprints,do the lastest software update,save them again with a big finger,make sure it covers THE WHOLE scanner,save them,you will be fine.

Probably the signal in your area is weak or your Telco issue.

Anyone having problems with LTE in this phone. When I turn on LTE i keep loosing connection on the band. The bars move from 1 bar to 4 bars. When I turn to 3G everything works fine? Any idea guys? I would really appreciate it.
