underscreen fingerprint is not good! hard to detect!! regret buying this phone. dear samsung if you want to make an underscreen fingerprint plis dont do like that. it totatly useless! A50 should be as A30 which is fingerprint on the back. or make it same as galaxy s10

Got the A50 as soon as it came out! Great phone so far, love the screen a LOT. Runs games amazingly, and performs quite well. I find myself using the face recognition more often compared to the (quite slow) in-display fingerprint sensor. Camera is as expected from a Android device, but the wide-angle lens is quite fun to use.

Anonymous, 30 Mar 20196 gb of ram and 128 gb storage is gimmick for average user (even heavy user) 4gb 64gb is m... morenope...its not enough.with bigger ram,apps will not refresh/restart itslef when u re-open back the apps after you switching back to the recent apps...for storage...some certain people might utilize the amount of storage...for myself,i do alot of video recording and depends on my internal storage alot..so i do need 128gb storage

Have any one any idea then pls... moreSamsung never fixed how many update each model gets, for mid range is super lucky to gets 2 (but this is ultra rare), most model get 1 update, some model get zero update to next generation android.
If you want to get best update then get yourself a S series or Note series.
Anyway for me it total irrelevant to get new android, most important is the stability, i don't even mind to use Nougat 7.1.2 as is very stable.

I am switching between screens or opening an app..the ui looks lagging..for eg when i open notifications and sounds tab..it goes into circles..as if page is loading and takes a good 7-10 secs to open the page...the phone was bought one day ago..any thoughts ?

I just use iPad, not iPhone. Well, anyway, not everyone like Apple, including me.
How many RAM & ROM will not be able to satisfy every users. Everytime there is phone with more RAM & ROM, the previous phone looks old suddently...

4gb 64gb is m... moreThis is what people says when 2GB/16GB, 4GB/64GB come out, Tell me would you want a 2GB/16GB phone now ? Game, apps are getting heavier, eventually 4GB/64GB will end up like 2GB/16GB in a year.
I have a 4GB/64GB phone, i already feel shortage of ROM for those game & apps, when i open a few apps at the same time some end up been closed, sometimes those apps freezes.
Currently the only future proof phone for next 2-3 years i see is S10+ 12GB/1TB

Nice phone 6gb/128gb out of the box will still have about 100gb usable storage and available ram 2gb+. Heating is noticeable not for heavy gaming, while fingerprint is very poor. The earpiece location can be problematic for aftermarket casing protector. Very decent camera good built money well spent. Hopefully durable compared to chinese phone and can last up to 3years. The best midrange so far imo.

Harsh , 30 Mar 2019Which is best? A50 or M30Seems the A50 is better. Here's what makes it better:
1- Faster, 10nm processor
2- Better cameras
3- Under Display Fingerprint scanner
It has a smaller battery than the M30 though, so if the things I enumerated are not worth the price difference, or if you value the battery life more, go for the M30.

New A series is much bring twist. Got cheaper with lose of important features like IP68 and OIS.
