For normal (not heavy) gaming and watching video, less than 4 5 hrs... moreNope
With browsing 9 to 10 hours SoT
With near heavy use 6 to 8 hours SoT
With heavy use 4 to 6 hours SoT
So i think there is a problem with your device

Hiw long that battery can run?For browsing, 8 to 9 hrs.
For normal (not heavy) gaming and watching video, less than 4 5 hrs.
I expect more for a phone with 4000mAh.

Better take it back to samsung. Or in case you don't want to replace the screen sell it and get an M31 or A51 or whatever you want :)

Hi Guys,
when i bought this phone last year , after 3 months of using, i had issues with the motherboard, went to get it fix ,luckly there's 1 year warranty.
now its over 1 year, my screen just went black. started with a tiny white screen at the bottom and it spread to the whole screen, phone is still turned on, but nothing can be seen.
to repair it cost about RM400 .
does anyone has the same problem here?

Light to mid gaming:8-6h
Heavy games: 5-4h
Notice that these numbers vary greatly relative to screen brightness, network type (mobile data consume battery faster than wifi) , power saver...
In my opinion it is good, but if you want very long battery life, get the M31, it has a 50% bigger battery than A50.

Anonymous, 07 May 2020Battery is even worse after update to Android 10. Do u own A50? I doubt u have one.Before you say bad battery you should say what is your usage and how many hours does it last. If you play online games on 4g expect the battery to be dead in 4 hours.

It has been a while since I updated to A... moreI play critical ops on ultra settings and fps fluctuates between 60-55 mostly 58-59, the phone gets warm, but doesn't throttle (or throttles without me noticing). I don't care about PUBG, but at low settings it used to be over 30 fps. IDK if updates made it more resource intensive.
Minecraft works well for me too, but it stutters a bit if I'm flying too fast with elytra due to quick chunk generation in infinite worlds.
The phone throttles after long gaming session, you can tell when a light blue wave like animation flows at the right corner of the display (which is a clear indicator that the performance drops to cool down).
