Did a little more testing. The 48 mp mode is pretty ok only in bright daylight conditions. It's also best to be in the photo mode so that it's software can optimize the photo for best results. In low light, the 48 mp mode gives out only a 12 mp pic. For some ludicrous reason, flash is not an option in 48 mp mode. If the flash was available, the picture quality would be better in low light. Hope Samsung has the brains to fix this lousy issue of flash not available at 48 mp. Same goes for night mode.

Worst phone.
Camera Not 48MP: it's a joke . May be 4.8MP.
Battery last 12hr to 18hr.
User experience worse.
Has to sell again in 5days

The A50s is nice in general, but the so called 48 mp main cam is a lousy joke. It's more like a 12 mp at max. May be it's actually 4.8 mp & the 48 is a typo error. Btw, is the flash option available for the fake 48 mp mode?

Parth, 04 May 2020I’m not a heavy user, so what should I buy Samsung Galaxy A50s or Samsung Galaxy M31 ?I havent seen the M31 personally nor had my hands on it in stores, yet..but i guess the A50s is a good consideration for you if youre not a heavy user..it still depends on your price point
Updates on this model are continuous. Just recently got new updates which keep the phone running to its maximum

Good phone for the price..not perfect but just what i need..initially, i had hesitations abt upgrading it to android 10 but what i did before installing the update is i wiped cache partition which is what is recommended on a50s facebook group.
Now,phone is working well and i can see the change in speed compared to when it was on android 9. No regrets upgrading it to android 10.
Camera is good,i dont play heavy games..one of my primary considerations in a phone is the display quality and this phone just delivers in that aspect..initially, was about to get OPPO A9 as it is way cheaper here in the Philippimes but the display quality of that phone drives me off.
If you are looking for a phone with good display and not really into playing heavy games and you are after a reputable brand (Samsung), this phone could be it.
