Alright, so I have had this phone over a year now. It aint worth the money. This phone is actual trash. First, it overheats like crazy. The battery is draining really fast, but it charges slow af. Today I literally just turned the phone on, went on snapchat, and then the phone dies. Well It didnt die, when I turn it on it says Samsung Galaxy A51 and just freezes. For the love of Dear God, do NOT buy this phone. It sucks.

I had ... moreReply with "Heating issue is always manufacturer's fault since device HAS included thermal controls and thottling function to handle heat buildup", unless you disassembled device it IS manufacturer responsibility within warranty.

Very bad experience of this Samsung model. Began with heating issue. Then it went dead. I had gifted this to my better half back in my home country. Now the service centre says we are not responsible and will charge you for repair. So much for the international warranty clause

Unfortunately this phone doesn't come with Galaxy S20's Over the Horizon despite having it in the SoundAlive menu and being released a few months earlier

Shittiest phone I have EVER had. It's in the repair shop more than it isn't. Sprint sold it to me and yet they "can't" repair it in their shops. They told me I had to mail it out and wait two weeks. Being that my work lap top is connected to my personal cell number and I need a code my wok laptop sends to my personal phone to be able to work, this is unacceptable. I have to spend $100 at a local shop to repair this phone every other month so take warning. It's cheap to buy but costly in the long run as you'll never get it out of the shop. This phone is pure shit and has become an uncalled for nightmare.

Turn off cell data and use wifi to reduce heating and extend battery life. If your unit is heating with cell data off, then sorry, can’t advise.

it's been 4 months since I am using this phone and the battery heats up pretty badly especially when charging. even though I use it indoors, during summer it heats up
(no i don't use my phone heavily)
everything else about my phone is bomb, it just that it heats up.

I love this phone and its my 2nd year using it. The performance wears off slightly as time goes on but it can restore itself if i let it power off for a few weeks and the feature from the new updates keeps improving the experience for me. The camera is very good , the pics are sharp and the maximum shutter speed can reach upto 12,000 . The video quality is not that good in the rear camera but the front is very good as compared to previous models of front video . The performance

I have this A51 since 2 months now and I can say ain't worth it, charging speed is slow, fingerprint sensor its not reliable, and most disappointing/disturbing is the performance, the phone lags even at simple tasks after a few hours of use or after battery is below 50%, even the camera app lags alot, my software updates are up to date and the its been aproximative 1 year since it is launched so it shouldn't have any of these software problems, the only thing that I'm very pleased it's the cameras, both cameras perform very well.
