I compared the A51 to two-year old Snapdragon 660 and Kirin 710 phones, since Exynos 9611 is supposed to be their peer. In real life usage the A51 seems to lag behind quite a bit, and it's much newer. Maybe her phone is defective, I'm gonna push for a replacement.

I will stick to mid range phones, since I just need a reliable phone. I am not a gamer nor I have time for that at all. I use i primarly as a communication tool and when I need to find some information quickly. But, when I buy a phone no matter what class it is I do expect that hw and out of the box sw work properly. I had opportunity to check on Redmi 9 Pro for example, which is in the same range and it has less price. I must say I am sorry that I did not wait and bought that one instead.

Did you real... moreI never used flagship in first place, so it'a hard for me to make that kind of comparison. But I do expect phone to perform "normal". I always had mid-range phones and I never experienced those kind of perofrmance issues before. I use phone as phone, and I use only out of the box features, I don't play games or use any other apps that have high requirements. So I do expect those basic features to work without any issues.

For normal use its battery drains faster, approximately its battery remains a day for normal use.It is very disappointing.

1-its cheaper
2-it has ufs for data 2.1 not 2.0 like A51
3-better camera
4-better fingerprint sensor
5-2000 more mah battery !!!
There is no point at all to think about A51 while m series is there

The WiFi was working fine until an OTA update from Sa... moreI am using it after i used redmi note 3,4yrs old phone,so from my perspective i saw this phone performing decent till i compared with phones with sd 730g or 720 g...they are definitely faster and better performing...so yeah phone isnt as much as good as other midrangers in this price range in terms of performance...there will be an android update soon ...maybe your phone gets fixed or get to service centre if they can reboot and reupdate your phone software

This phone is garbage! Wont charge past 70% and sometimes I get mail 2 days after it was sent. It doesnt notify of incoming messages even when set up to do so! I have never had such a hard time with a phone! I have spent countless hours on the line with Samsung and they cannot offer any help. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

I also find her phone laggy, slower than expected on a midrange phone with 6GB of RAM. How's the speed of your A51?

It's a great phone for the price. Paid only £185 with an iPhone 4 trade in direct from Samsung late 2019 early 2020.

WiFi only works within a few feet from the rou... moreI dont know whats problem then..my A51 dint have issue like that with wifi yet...i also bought 4 months ago...yeah agree that phone is poor performing in terms of price but thats what samsung does charges for its brand name...if my phone starts having issue i wont buy samsung again...you can try to visit on local samsung care centre once for the wifi issue

WiFi only works within a few feet from the router. I tried 5 other phones and all of them worked fine on the same router. The phone's going to warranty. Very poor quality for a $310 phone that's merely 3 months old. Thanks for your help anyway.

Mi 100 times better than Samsung a51, my A51 speaker problem in new phone and touch stops at Google search, when you search this problem at Google this shows restart your phone and reset,after i hour reset problem continues, I faced many other problems in Samsung that is totally waste of money and time, my previous MI phone was much better in every manner
