Still a decent phone (not too good and not too bad) of a phone in *late* 2023. I've rooted mine and haven't experienced any major problems so far. One thing about this phone is the battery, which is only 4000 mAh, which only lasts about 4-5 hours at most. I don't know if it can be replaced for a 5000 mAh or better one.

It... moreNo way to downgrade my a51 because of latest binary 8 installed with the Android 13 OTA update. Previous Android 12 and 11 are binary 5, so flashing fails with older bootloader versions. I contacted Samsung's Customers Service to find a solution. 150€ to change the phone's mainboard or an offer of a 20% discount on a new a53 5G from their site. Pity the price is 190€ higher than offered by one of the most biggest retailers were I live. I refused both solutions and changed brand with a better performing model at a cheaper price.

Even though this phone is extremely cursed in terms of user experience, Wingtech is yet to make a better design-wise replacement to this phone

Had no problems with my Galaxy a51 LTE till Android 12 upgrade. Last october I upgraded to version 13. After upgrading also my phone restarts many times making it useless. No way solving by hard reset or clearing the cache partition. Even after hard reset with no 3rd party apps running and configuring the phone with essential info, it shuts down and restarts with a simple swipe on the screen. Now that my phone is totally instable thanks for a buggy upgrade, I'm about to contact Samsung customers service to solve the problem at their cost (hopefully).

Inflated batteries explode and cause chemical burns. For your and everyone else's safety, please throw away any inflated batteries and get a new one.

Best thing to do is to visit a genuine service center and show your phone for diagnosis, but you can also check your phone's back panel from the sides to see if there is any bump because of battery inflation. After 2 years of usage it's normal for battery to getting old and worn out and even inflated and it may cause restarting. I have experienced the same issue with two different phone models and it was the battery that caused the problem and it got fixed by changing the battery with a new one. though it's better to show the phone for diagnosis to an expert in a genuine Samsung service center. I Wish that my comment be helpful to you

Well my Galaxy a51 6gb/128gb, has been a good phone 🤳 for the past 2 years and few months that I bought the phone 📱. Just a week ago and few days in this very month of October. I started experiencing restarting issue all the time on my Galaxy a51, and this restarting issue on my Galaxy a51 has been giving me a lot of mental stress. I don't enjoy my Galaxy a51 anymore because of this restarting issue all the time. Also, I always check on my phone 📱 for software update all the time. My Galaxy a51 is up to date. So I don't know where this restarting issue is coming from on my phone. Since I bought my Galaxy a51, it has never been to any service center till today. Please 🙏 does anyone experience the same restarting issue on his or her Galaxy a51 phone 📱.

i am using this phone since 4.5 years and no single problum seen, this phone is very nice specilly camera and screen, overall the phone quality and feature is very good, thanks samsung

Bought this for my wife in 2021. Screen went black in 6 months. Blamed the kids. Got replacement from warranty. Screen went black again after a year with no warranty. I cant blame the kids again. Worst samsung experience

Could hear the phone was working. Got warranty replacement. In less than a year the screen went blank, with the phone still working. No other phone I have ever owned was less reliable than the A13.
