ok I see on samsung web site others are having the same 4g problems, cant connect 4g.
I'm going to get rid of this phone and sell and buy another brand again. No more samsung phones for me. Waste of money, going to lose 100usd to sell at a loss.

Andy, 24 Aug 2020Can anyone tell me if the speaker on A51 is any good? Is it better than A41?speaker tinny sound, cal quality cuts in and out. Nevef had this problem on mi a1.
My a51 is 3 weeks old, have problem with 4g cant connect many times. Never had prob with mi a1 or other phones.

I'm having problems with 4g connect. When switch on from top bar 4g does not connect many times. It shows the upload blinking but the download part is dead. Sometimes there is no icon even.
I have to go into settings and switch on and off sim cards and then 4g connects or have to reboot phone to connect 4g.
Is this phone physical defective and do I have to send for repair?

And samsung won't bother putting extra RAM if it won't work. So stop writing fake comments.

I want to buy this phone but I only hear bad reviews about the chipset.. I plan to use this for around two yr and a half and my main apps are only social media. not much video consumption either. is the chipset really that awful :< I wish a51s gets released before I regret my decision

Or you can do Manually Using Odin Firmware File can be found on Sammobile. It's a long process so I recommend to wait for an OTA.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2020All phones heat like that due to simple physics. Ever heard of electric resistance?He was talking about poor heat management, this phone uses an Exynos chipset on a 10nm node. Those CPUs are known to get really hot. I do not recommend this phone but I don't think this is a total failure. There are just better phones to buy in 2020 if you don't care about a brand name

Who are all of these people complaining of heating? It seems like an issue with the region it's being used as I have 3 of these phones in my home, none have had heating issues since purchase date, and all of them use LTE all the time, followed by 2 of them always gaming, the other always being used to make videos.
In my region there's only 6gb ram variant, so I wonder if that makes a difference?
