My 2-year old A52 5G back cover just popped out all of a sudden. Searched the web and seems to be a common issue. This is quite disappointing. Is this common to all sealed-type phones? My previous phone was an LG V20, so I can't relate since that had a removal battery. Prior to that, I had an Xperia Acro S, non-removal battery too but I didn't have issues with the back cover.

Why are you “forced” to buy a newer device ... moreOld apple phones are stuck at whatever iOS version they are supported & they gonna get less or outdated apps & with no custom rom support like Android phones so you can install latest Android & still get latest apps & phone longevity better just bin that Apple phone...
Samsung also releases final botched buggy updates like apple to make older unsupported phones run slow, hot, feel sluggish & now samsung preventing downgrading, you are stuck at whatever buggy version they released & force you to buy a new phone by ensuring phone drains battery fast, gets hot, crashes, etc.

Why are you “forced” to buy a newer device if you’re happy with an older one? Know of many iPhone users that are on several years old phones that they don’t see the need to let go of.

Not sure why you would need 2 but anyway. The Battery will last you about half the day with heavy use, but it charges up quickly.

A recent update turned on A2DP Bluetooth hardware offload. Problem is the CPU is busy helping offload work from the 5G radio. Bluetooth then goes to the dumpster. The QC 750G doesn't have a strong enough ISP to offload both 5G and Bluetooth.
Random BT disconnects, some cases just flat out refuses to pair. Mostly evident by the music playing with constant drop outs or videos stalling. Yes, yes, did all of the Tier 1 & 2 support desk stuff like resetting the network, blah, blah.
Went into dev mode and turned off the BT offload. Issues stopped.
I should have known better when the rep said this is a "5G value phone".
Well I found the shortcut that got the value or lack thereof.

Been working great for me since release, however after a software update around March-April 2023 it has been acting odd. Sometimes when I unlock it, it starts to glitch, unlocks, freezes & locks again. After that I can unlock it and it acts normally. Maybe a bug in the latest software or my phone is having hardware issues.

I am glad it came with a 3.5mm audio connector.
Every time my bluetooth headphones start whining due to low battery in the midst of playing an audiobook on phones without the connector, I wish the 3.5mm connector back.
Bluetooth headphones are inoperable while charging!

I rarely write tech reviews or comments.
Yet, I would like to congratulate the engineers and designers behind Samsung A52 5G. This is probably the best smartphone I owned so far - my previous ones were iPhone 4S, Huawei 9P and Samsung A40.
After A40, I was very pleased with a smaller-sized phone and was sad that there was no good small-sized option anymore. When I got A52 5G, it felt so big.
But after a year and a half of use, I must say that this is, at least for me, almost a perfect phone. Loudspeakers, a nice screen, a big battery (especially on low power mode), quite fast, nice photos, and I even got used to the size since I use it as a portable TV. The build qulity is much better compared to A40. My phone still looks like new, even though I drop it quite hard every other week or so (Spigen bumper helps). It gets wet almost every other time I take a shower. Even Samsung's software is slowly improving.
I recommend the A50 line to everyone who asks me for phone-buying advice.

Does A52 5G and support 2 SIM cards also what about the battery life? and any other Samsung models with dual sim, 3.5 mm jack and good battery life?
