baluga, 21 Sep 2016should you download some virus protection...you might have some apps with virus....better dele... moreI upgraded. Phone is 20% faster. battery life is better. more hidden options and all in all a better phone with marshmellow at least in my case. Even tho i heard some people have problems with battery overheating but i had none of that!

I have... moretrue, the effective ram is about 800mb (mine is at 350 when i have all the apps i need open) so if u have about the same apps as myself (which are like 15+) it might lag a bit IF u have them all open, other than that it runs smooth all the time :)

This phone is splendid it is just a... morewell if it heats up a bit then it's normal, mine heats up while playing pokemon go and i keep it in my pocket (when i have it in hands it cools down) i still have it on lollipop so i can't comment on the upgrade (i'm thinking about it myself) but u can always return it to lollipop (though it's a bit hard) so i don't think it should have any problems i'm just waiting since my laptop needs to get fixed i can't make a back up yet :)

the first time that i bought this phone that i've been having this issue, the battery drains so fast, 4% every 8 minutes, and the phone gets overheating while playing a game, this have been going since i got this phone, anyone knows this problem???????????????

Just take it back to the retailer claiming the battery seems to be defective.

Hello, is there a way to format microsd card as internal storage. Because I put samsung evo plus 64gb but there is only sd card option. I cant see any format as internal storage or something like that. I think its disabled on this phone? Can I enable it?

should i update to mm?are there any chronic bugs and disadvantages? especially how's the battery life? if it's better on lollipop, then I'm better off with lollipop

I have been using this phone for 1 month and it is a bit laggy at certain times. there are cheaper alternatives with better performance out there. but if you prefer style over substance this phone is a really good looking one. good battery life (24 hr standby with 4-5 hr screen on time) and have a nice display.

Hi guys and gsmareana I am a Samsung Galaxy A 5 2016 user. This phone is splendid it is just a brilliant phone in every way possible well done to u Samsung for this model my only concerns on this phone is the phone heats up a bit when playing games for about 10 min or so on continuous use idk if that is normal, camera is super awesome just at night the rear struggles a bit but with the flash on at night the pics come out a bit better lastly is i am from South Africa and I got the update for marshmallow idk if I should update it as there is many comments out there saying the phone performs so much more better, camera, battery, performance etc while others are saying the phone becomes laggy even when playing mid range games like clash Royale and clash of clans etc so I would like to know from you guys whether I should update or not thanks.

My phone restarts after 5-6 hrs whatever i may be doing(sm a5(2016)) if any setting or software to download pls guide me. p.s. using android for first time. Used windows.
