Try charging with different chargers, look for any change while charging which might assure the phone to be working. If it works you're lucky.

First IS is OS.
Second the camera issue with colour which is rubbish.Camera colour issue is present since Marshmallow. It's also on Nougat. Colours are not natural. White washed. Appears Dull. Blue looks like grey and red colours would look like oranges.
Front camera is not handling the lights/dynamic range properly. It is unable to handle the lights thus overexposing (no beautification and basic display mode, also on adaptive display). F/1.9 aperture size is enough to handle the low light. But on our phones, it just overexposes the light but also suffers in the low light areas, in the process, the photos lose its fine details and natural colours.
I have confirmed this on my A5 2016 as well as with 2 other friends' A5(6).
You didn't notice or you didn't know. It doesn't mean the issue is not there.

i purchased my A5 in March 2016.On Sunday ,9 July 2017 i was prompted to do the upgrade. Immediately after the restart, my phone started ''acting up''. It reacted extremely slowly to commands, or would simply exit an app i was busy with. Then Tuesday morning , 11 July 2017, my phone was "dead". At first i thought the battery had run down and put it on charge for an hour...but nothing happened. I switched to another samsung charger...but got the same result. I am now sitting with a very pretty looking and pricey , non-function phone. Has anyone had a similar experience. Is there any explanation or advice regarding my dilemma?

I am using the phone for almost a year. Last month I updated the phone to Nougat. Everything was still fine. But around 20th June a security patch update came and the phone became very laggy after that. I have tried resetting the phone a few times but seems like it didn't help. Is there anyone who knows the solution...??? I have the Malaysian variant of A510FD.

I have done factory reset now my battery time plus charging speed is back like previous version.
I hope this helps. Plus after reset you also get 10GB free Internal storage out of 16 GB mine was max 5GB before reset

This is my second year using my A5⑥ , quite impressive to say , never expected to have this phone for such long time , still smooth as butter on nougat , never think about buying a new one...
