It's ok phone but it's laggy and sluggish after OneUI 2.5 update..
This is stupid shit what AT&T said to you. This phone is a 4G phone, why shouldn't it work after 2/22? Unless your carrier stops and eliminates all 4G networking all over you country, and only gives access to 5G networks. I do not think it will happen, because, the 3G networks are still well working in Europe, where I am from. so 4G will be supported for 10 years or more. 99% of devices does not support 5G. I do not know what is the situation in USA.
I was just told by my carrier (AT&T) that my phone will no longer work after 2/22.
So will the phone be obsolete after that? I just spent 400 bucks a few months ago! Help!~
so my galaxy A705MN is not 5G compatible so is it going to be no good after 2/2022?
Is it 4G compatible? ATT keeps saying I hjave to get another phone because mine wont work after 2/22? I just spent 400 bucks on this phone! Help!
Try to look for the battery or energy saving settings. I either never use the AOD, I could turn it off. It just consumes battery, and if I lift the phone, turns the display on.
I received my android 11 update a week ago. After the update the device has become very sluggish, not lag but sluggish.
They kind of added a vibration feature for the navigation panel and the screen inputs but it feels very cheap as the response is after some delay(I know it can be turned off)
But, my main question is any other updated user facing the same problem? or only my device has become slow?
Secondly the AOD never turn off, even after choosing the option to show after I press the screen for 10 sec, It keeps itself ON PERMANENTLY.
Today received software update, android 11, One UI 3.1, security update first of March. Model SM-A705FN/DS
Anonymous, 04 Apr 2021I have purchased samsung a70 but within warranty period I have sent 4 times to service center... moreYou may have bought from unauthorized seller. Stop blaming Samsung for your foolish acts.
I have bought A70 from a mobile store with 1 year Samsung warranty on May 2019 and the handset is working fine without any problem. Understood?.
I have purchased samsung a70 but within warranty period I have sent 4 times to service center with paid around Rs.17000
Then also facing same problem..it is not charging properly. It's a worst model. The service boys are admitting that it's manufacturing problem.

The signal reciever is really very weak. If you are un a low signal area, uts gonna be only ur phone which is going to be non functional. No mobile signal and no internet. Rest all the phonea would be functioning really well. Reat i dont see an issue in this model

I think it is not a bug, it is good idea, not deleting permanently, only i... moreSee. There must be option to enable or disable the recycle bin. What rights does the Samsung have to force a feature?.
Is this the case with M51 also?.
To Mr S.Sudhakar:
I think it is not a bug, it is good idea, not deleting permanently, only into recycle bin like in windows. I am eagerly waiting for android 11 besides.
Do not upgrade the OS to 11.0 because :
> There is no option to permanently deleting a SMS directly. We have to move to the recycle bin and then empty it. We can disable the recycle bin only in the GALLERY settings.
> A lot of junk apps via Samsung store will get installed automatically without your consent (though you can uninstall them after completing the update).
So better disable automatic update of the OS in the phone settings area.
