I wish samsung does what oppo used to do which is update their UI without having to upgrade android version. That makes older Oppos run very fluid and smooth. My J8 used to feel smoother on Oreo as well. Phones are optimized out of the box and software updates kill the smoothness

But maybe thats because i use face unlock and the 1080 display is sharper than the 720 on the j8. No serious issues

For me, I really don't care for the updates as long as my phone is working flawless (like my A70)with one ui.

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2019Hey I've had the A70 since yesterday, I LOVE it so far! the big screen is something to get use... moreGet at least the july 1 2019 security update (august update), i heard august 1 2019 update (september/october update) already came that greatly improved it even further. Plus added new features for the camera and better touch screen response.
Same multiple finger print register, in my case using right and left thumb.
For those who got tempered glass or screen protector, Go to setting>display>turn on touch sensitivity.
Fingers not wet or sweaty or dirty and finger print scanner area not wet or dirty.

If you want more backup, attach a EXIDE or AMCO battery to your phone i 6 io t.

Did you buy the phone just for getting the updates and upgrades or for using it?. Why are you addicted to updates and upgrades?.
i am ysing Samsung Note 4 android 6.0.1 (along with Samsung A9 pro 2016 android 8.0) and I am not as greedy / addicted as you for updates and upgrades. If my phones shows any prompt, I will update it. Thats all.

Can someone please tell me if the A70 is actually IP-rated or is splash resistant?
