Samsung Galaxy A70s and A90 5G get One UI 3.1 update

Samsung Android Firmware Updates

Samsung has released the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update for two more smartphones - Galaxy A70s and Galaxy A90 5G.

The new build for the A70s comes with version number A707FDDU3CUC6 and the firmware for A90 5G has version A908NKOU3DUC3. Both come with the March 2021 Android security patch.

The Galaxy A70s is receiving One UI 3.1 in India and A90 5G in South Korea at the time of writing this. Unless major issues arise the rollout should expand to other countries soon.

If you own either of these smartphones and haven't received an update prompt yet, you can try checking it manually by heading to the Settings > Software update menu on your device.

After updating I am getting "DEVICE OVERHEATING" Message and Apps Closing

I had a similar problem with files in the 'Android' folder on the internal storage. Fixed it by renaming the folder. It won't rename the existing folder but create a copy under the new name with all your files.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I have such app, MyAPKs. Anyway, after unmounting/removing the SDCard and mounted it to and checked on an old phone, my back-up apks are still there. Just isn't visible anymore on Android 11 run phones. Sad, but we can...
