I want to buy A71 because its camera seems good as well as has reasonable ram and storage. However recently i just encountered some users opinion that the A71 battery often overheats. Is it true?
Few days got this phone, and it's a huge upgrade for me from my previous j5 2017 that i owned for 2 years.
Pros:
1: It's fast. Loads apps and games without any issues.
2: 6 GB of ram is plenty, 128 GB internal memory will get you enough of everything.
3: Supercharging is quite a nice feature on here, coffee break knows to get me up by 40% charge
4: I was expecting the speaker to be lower quality, but it's actually pretty good for it's price, and it's loud.
5: Should assume to have next 2 years of updates since this phone just recently came out.
6: It does feel like a premium phone to some extent, it's not even heady to hold it.
Cons:
1: The main camera has a good quality picture, but going anything above 4x zoom loses quality. Wide camera is also okay, but it's very noticeable difference in quality between main/wide camera.
2: The phone is a bit... huge. Not the most comfortable in the hand, and you need quite a pocket to put it in, but you get used to it over time (at least i did).
3: Fingerprints stays all around the back, gotta clean it if you want it to stay clear, i mean the back of the phone looks quite nice, but having fingerprints all over it doesn't make it look all that beautiful.
4: Can't drop screen resolution to save as much battery as possible.
Overall, i am not disappointed with this phone whatsoever. I made my pros/cons above to make it easier for you whether you'll want to buy this phone or not.
Anyone making their opinions here about this phone and the issues they have with the software issues, well.. it's software issues, not this phones's issue.
And the guy below me saying how his 1 pixel is doing weird things when in call... Those are sensors built in the screen, so when you talk to someone, it does it's own kind of thing, so it is completely normal.

ABDUL BM , 20 Jun 2020Pls someone should help me with the pros and cons of the Galaxy A71
ThanksPro = Super Amoled screen, one of the rare Samsung come with Snapdragon chips nowadays, very matured UI.
Con = Screen too big, difficult to use it with one hand, pricey compare to china phone like Redmi Redmi range of Xiaomi & Realme, competitive price compared to Oppo, Vivo & Mi range of Xiaomi.

Stan, 20 Jun 2020Should i get the Galaxy A71 or S9 plus in 2020? And which has a better selfie and rear camera ... moreThe S9+ is end of life device. You won't get Android 11 or further security updates. Also, the screen is bigger and more immersive on the A71 and the A71 battery is bigger too. Go for the S9+ if you dont do financial transactions on your phone ever or if you just want a better camera/video phone. Otherwise, if you want all around phone usability and versatility and update to Android 11, the A71 is a better choice.
