You will notice a purplish smear on the colored images. Its all to do with response times for oled screen pixels lighting up.

Also, be sure you you'll be ok with a smaller battery (3400mAh vs 4500mAh), smaller display (6.1" vs. 6.7"), curved screen (fragile, touch issues and reflectivity issues near the curved edges), hybrid sim slot (2 slots vs 3 slots) and an Exynos processor (no GCam).
Anonymous, 14 May 2020Does A71 have the HFR setting for mobile legends? I've read it somewhere that A71 doesn't have... moreNope. It's disabled for many phones even those capable of running at high frame rates because of bugs in the app. You should contact the developer if you want to report that bug for your specific phone model (it's not only the A71 that is having that disabled feature).
I ran one of these after my Sony Xperia XZ2 died. It was a shock. On paper this should have been slower. Samsung nailed it. The A70 is fast, smooth and incredibly user friendly. Even now I still use my A70 as a work phone leaving my Note 10+5g at home. It's a very capable device.

Anonymous, 13 May 2020*Samsung charger/charging issue. No issue at all it has a Super Fast Charging faster than Fast Charging
redbriar, 13 May 2020 i just want to clear my self.. because there is only one thing bothers me... i notice on left... moreYes the small blink your talking about is the Proximity Sensor
Great phone with great features and the camera takes good photos specially in the dark and about the games you will not experience any drop frame when playing Mobile Legends and PUBG...
B, 13 May 2020But what about snapchatting individuals? You can't take a picture, type a text on it, and send... moreIt's unfortunate some apps have buggy operations with specific android phones due to the sheer diversity of phone configurations in the android world.
Before, almost everything had 16:9 aspect ratios but now, we have 18:9, 18.5:9, 19.5:9, 20:9, and even 21:9. These diverse aspect ratios are creating problems for app developers. Then there's also a very diverse camera setup in the Android world. Some have single, double, triple and even quadruple rear cameras and that's only rear cameras. There's also single, double and pop up and flipping selfie cameras. And then camera resolutions are becoming very high causing high demands on free memory and storage which can affect an app's photo processing. There's already 108 megapixel camera phones in addition to 64megapixel and 48 megapixel ones. All these variations have to be considered by app developers who make use of the phone's camera and available memory so that an app will function properly regardless of Android phone configuration.
It will take time for them to sort it out and the fastest way to get their attention is to email them directly of a bug you experienced using their app citing your specific phone model.
Sammy, 13 May 2020need details on that charging issue...Go back to page 10 - 12. Lots of discussion there about charging.
redbriar, 13 May 2020 i just want to clear my self.. because there is only one thing bothers me... i notice on left... moreYes it's a sensor nothing wrong with the phone
techthroughtoni, 11 May 2020it is expensive and does not have 60fps, has a plastic frame..man..I personally prefer plastic to glass that can shatter, and be costly to replace
i just want to clear my self.. because there is only one thing bothers me... i notice on left side of the front camera i noticed that there is a tiny blinking light when you make a call or listening a voice message in whatsapp.. is that a PROXIMITY SENSOR?? please i want to know..

Davidlapalma, 12 May 2020I want to know if the screen tint issue in the display of A71 is a general problem. The issue ... moreI am on dark mode all the time and even force dark mode on apps (like Facebook) that don't have a dark mode using developer options.
I routinely dim my A71 to those low brightness levels you mentioned (sometimes even up to 0-2%) when I'm in bed about to sleep, but I don't have the issue you are experiencing. You should really have the phone replaced if color setting adjustments don't solve it. I'm not aware of many A71 owners and users here who have the same issue. The Samsung charger, I can confirm to be relatively more common here than the screen problem you mentioned.
Anonymous, 13 May 2020There are still many people with 1080p TV, some even still on 576p. Also most phones have 1080... moreI don't know about you but given the cheapness of micro sd storage, and cheapness of big screen 4K TV's nowadays,
nobody should be recording memorable events in their phones in 1080p anymore.
You'll only regret later when you view the footage in a big screen 4K or 8K tv. It's very easy to compress a 4K video to 1080p or 720p for Facebook uploads but you shouldn't delete the 4K footage. You can't upscale a low quality 1080p recording to 4K and expect glorious and spectacular results in a big screen 4K UHD or 8K TV.
Remember, 1080p has only 1/4th the resolution of 4K. Viewing in the small phone screen is OK, but to truly enjoy and relive the memory, only a big screen experience will suffice and for that, 4K is the ABSOLUTE minimum resolution one should record in in 2020!
And, I cannot say this enough, people should stop recording videos in Portrait mode. It's so STUPID to do so even if you really think/believe you'll never ever want to view those memorable events in a large screen tv ever.
You'll only regret it later, the moment 100" 4K TV's become so cheap you'll bang your head for not doing the right thing. No way to bring back 4K resolution to stupid PORTRAIT baby videos recorded in poor quality 1080p. Your teenager will blame you why you recorded such horrible portrait video of him/her when he/she was a baby.
Anonymous, 07 May 20201080p? Are you serious? Nobody should record in 1080p anymore when all TV's are already 4K. There are still many people with 1080p TV, some even still on 576p. Also most phones have 1080p display, so I guess it isn't a major drawback.

You can't take a picture, type a text on it, and send it that way. Taking a pic through the phones camera app would be the solution for uploading pics to your snapchat story or instagram story/feed. I had heard that the reason for the blurriness may be that the snapchat app is taking a screenshot basically of the picture after it's taken? May have to do with the screen size not being compatible with the app?
