Update to the latest software updates and factory reset your phone if the problem persists. Restarting the phone is a workaround if you still have not updated to the latest software updates.
Again, only a factory reset will do if you already have the latest software update but still have the problem.

moonlight3, 18 Oct 2020i dont think is the phone problem because i have an a7 2018 and after update the finger scan s... morestopped using the finger print scanner for false reading from the beginning and now its a whole week just using fingerprint and its perform fine. just register a thumb once dry and second oily in the position you hold your phone and trying to unlock it.

I bought A71 last week.but the other day Suddenly I've noticed that the volume of the headphones are low than usual. Then I tried to fix that. But it used to be the same. Then I restarted my phone and connected the headphones and it was came back to actual volume. But once I removed the headphones and connected headphones again the volume gone down as before...then again I restarted my phone and connected the headphones and it was came back to actual volume. Is it a hardware problem or software problem?
Please someone give me a solution

TheMan, 19 Oct 2020Please, I was able to do everything in the first paragraph but didn't see the second one ... more'Back Camera' is found under 'Lib Patcher' (Settings - Advanced - Lib Patcher). Under 'Lib Patcher', you should see 'Enable lib patcher', Tone Curve, Back camera, Telephoto lens, Wide lens.
Tap 'Back camera' to change Sharpness, Luma denoise, etc. to recommended settings mentioned previously.

lightning9, 18 Oct 2020Does this work on any Android 10 phone?Nope. Night Sight mode/feature of GCam generally won't work on phones with Mediatek, Kirin and Exynos based processors. Phones with non-snapdragon processors above may have GCam ports but these ports usually have limited functionality and availability. Most, if not all, don't have a working Night Sight mode, which is the most important GCam feature as it greatly improves low light shots where most other default camera apps struggle to provide any usable image. GCam with Night Sight was designed for Pixel phones which have snapdragon based processors and which run on Oreo and above (camera2api enabled).
So if you have Nougat and are using a phone with Kirin, Mediatek or Exynos processor, you're out of luck, at least not until Google releases a Pixel phone with Kirin, Mediatek, or Exynos processor.

Back Camera, Sharpness, Luma denoise, Chroma denoise and others downwards.. I wasn't able to find them in my GCam settings please help.

Mod compatible with modern Snapdragon SoCs. Some versions work on some Exynos, Kirin, and Mediatek phones, but usually with limitations.
ARM64, only very old versions (GCam 4) support 32 bit;
Recent apks may not work on older Android versions.

mori, 17 Oct 2020fingerprint scanner work fine after october 1 update. good job Samsungi dont think is the phone problem because i have an a7 2018 and after update the finger scan stopped working. and i dont even know why? :)

Nadia Muneer , 17 Oct 2020Me live in Pakistan, Okay Then Explain GCam And Kindly Give Link For Night Photos But Why Not... moreBecause the A71's night mode even if it yields good results with the main camera, is no match to GCam on Night Sight. And also, the GCam with Night Sight works for the selfie camera and the ultrawide camera, and not only the main camera; not like phone's default night mode which is limited to the main camera. I've provided GCam installation details below. Try it and you'll see just how superior GCam with Night Sight is, compared to night mode on the default Samsung camera app of the A71. GCam is one of the reasons why I avoid Exynos processors. The other being Exynos processors are inferior to their snapdragon equivalents in processor performance and power handling.

Shoot low light selfies in Night Sight and you'll see just how excellent GCam on the A71 is. It produces clear images even when the native camera app and other phones produce nothing but black.
As for the main rear camera, enable astrophotography in Night Sight, and you'll realize just how poor the default camera app is even with night mode enabled. Try the GCam above in Night Sight and you'll realize why GCam's Night Sight is superior to anything else including the most expensive iPhone's night mode.
