Tammy Eye, 31 May 2025Almost impossible to find a full body phone case for this phone!search eBay for Love Mei case. That's an aluminum case with a layer of protective glass and silicone bumpers. Water resistant. It's a good full body case.

I got this phone used August 2023 for $135.
It works well and holds up well for the money.
Charging port sometimes glitches-wont charge and needs a phone restart.
Sometimes it has phantom touches although that seems to be the phone needing to be sanitized with lysol wipes.

Aiodensghost, 21 Mar 2024UW user here!! Bought it unlocked from Best Buy.I'm glad I still got my a71 unlocked n is also global use as still works like new even my friend used the day light out of it but it took alot from him as I'm surprised for samsung mid high end phone, very impressive!!

Nikola, 13 Nov 2020I don't see moaners about nfc like there are in motorola one fusion+ comments. For Samsun... moreIt actually has NFC. I use it to transfer files via nearby share with my Retroid Pocket Flip and Galaxy Tab S6 all the time.

I've been using the same Galaxy A71 5G UW for 4 years now. The phone is still as fast as it was the day I got it. Due to keeping the phone in dark mode, with low screen brightness most of its life, I'm now finally reaching the point where I'm charging twice a day versus having the battery last a day and a half like it originally did.
There are several gripes I have about this phone... all of them fall on Samsung. 1) it's nigh impossible to find a case that fits this thing that ALSO DOESNT JAM THE POWER BUTTON DOWN OR PUT THE PHONE IN RECOVERY MODE. 2) ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND PARTS OTHER THAN THE SCREEN, MAKING REPAIRS A RIGHT PAIN IN THE BUTT. 3) You have 2 choices of buying this phone... most people make the mistake of buying it from Verizon. WITH THIS PHONE, BUY IT UNLOCKED, OR NOT AT ALL.
Other than those gripes, this is a nice phone, and it's gonna be a damn shame when I'm ultimately FORCED to retire it. Yeah, you really that right. If I can't get a new battery and case for this thing, I'll be forced to upgrade... but I don't want to lose my 3.5mm headphone jack yet!!
Edit: please note, I bought mine UNLOCKED from Best Buy those 4 years ago. You probably won't find a device like this new anymore.

I can't even use it. The performance is absolute GARBAGE! Do not buy because the battery life only lasts 6 hours or less for me, One UI is constantly crashing and I have to go back to the lock screen constantly, and videos constantly lag even on 480p! WORST SMARTPHONE TO BUY!

My A71 5G UW has pretty short battery life. I had an A70 and it would last 2 to 3 days, but this one only lasts about 18 hours.

Andresbecerrero, 10 Apr 2021Can I use this phone on ATT network? I'm going to still have the 5G capability??You cannot use it for AT&T, it's for Verizon only. Try the A71 5G, it's available for Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, and more carriers.
