I would like to inform the audience that my A72 works without problems with Android 14, although the specification says that it is possible to upgrade to Android 12. Thanks for your attention on this matter. :)

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2025Is 3X portrait mode available on this phone?Portrait zoom is not available.You can use portrait effect from Samsung gallery.On A72 night shots are absolutely amazing.Front camera can do better work in day light.4k 30fps recording is available for both cameras.

I took mine a week after it was available in April 2021. An year ago started to unglue, but gave it to a random service and they glued it again. Overall good phone with versatile cameras. It is enough for browsing, chatting, Android auto and some photos from time to time.
I think they killed the A7x model line, because of the introduction of FE devices. Will upgrade early next year with either s25 fe or something out of s26 series.

a72, 19 Jan 2025am I the only one that after the latest update from January for A72 is having charging issues ? I've got difficulty to get it charged. At first I could charge it with it's cover on. Now I must I remove the cover. And still has trouble to make sure that it is charging. Must switch it off which is hassle as it is my primary (contract) that I use for work. On the pro side - I love the filter in radio as I can record radio shows that are notdownloadablr as podcasts after the main broadcast.

I been using this a long time.Now it's on ONE UI 6 and android 14 and working great ,a little downgrade in back cameras but overall working great .great battery time.Very smooth screen.I love it.

Use it since 2021. Still okay just some half-burned pixels on taskbar and bottom buttons so i use gestures. Want to upgrade to s25 but not earlier than few months.

I've been using A72 for 3.5 years now. A very good all round phone upper midrange phone.
As a heavy user (non gamer) this phone has not let me down.
Samsung discontinued the A 70 series line up after A 73, since the phones were so good they were eating into Samsung's flagship S series market.

Because of one ui, so much bloatwares (Galaxy ui, useless) and one critical missing feature : I can't use prefixes or jokers to block phone numbers. I can just block full numbers. That's a major issue for me because in my country, phone spammers and scammers are a really big thing!!! And they use so many different types of phone numbers and switch so often that I just can't idividually block them all!!!
Everything you got in one ui is smartcall, a thing that just warns you of a potential fraud. Cool but it doesn't filters anything and you keep getting these annoying calls! among the ones that really matter... *Big sigh*

Always on, I can't change anything except for the one clock I have, there are no other AOD settings, everything is gone, probably they messed something up with the update.
