Previously, playing Pokemon Go before updating to Marshmallow, scrolling through the pokemon bag wasn't laggy. But after updating, everything lags, every single game's FPS drops. Very disappointed with this Marshmallow update. Isn't it supposed to be perfectly tested before rolling out the update to A7(2016)s devices?

It's not something that can be avoided on that phone. The GPU in that phone is extremely sub-par, has terrible shader performance (due to the MP2 configuration) compared to the competition and any recent games will put a lot of strain and pretty much cause thermal issues.

AnonD-614713, 28 Nov 2016Hey !!! Any one have idea about Android N for Galaxy A7(2016)..Most likely late Q2 2017, i.e after 7.0 hits the 2015 flagship (S6, Note5). Don't hold your breath though, midrange devices from Samsung don't typically get more than one major Android update.

if do not want device getting hot during charge,
just use normal charger, do not use charger that come with phone,
but may take 3 hours to fully charge.

My A7 2016 also warms up, but a bit when I charge it, I think it's normal.
When there is overheating the games become slow.
Maybe your phone has some overheating problem.
