6x1.6 + 2x2.2 cpu? i think A7 2017 with 7880 (8x1.9 cores) is better than this, most of the cores are slow compared to previews model.
Also i would've liked a dual rear camera

hello Samsung galaxy A8+ upgradable to android 8.0 oreo OS from android 7.1 bought OS?

Im always concern about battery life. Is the A8 and plus have 10nm processors? If not, ill buy Mate 10...
As I like to have music n video collection with me always from my laptop, I'm preferring it due to its dedicated card slot . Little bit puzzling due to its thickness, its not slim. Like the rest features.
Lasco, 02 Jan 2018Comparing this with the s9, what do you guys think?. Overall not a lot of difference between the S9 & A8 phones other than GPU/CPU Power at the cost of battery life (The S9 is much more power hungry then the A8 even when the S9 is in medium power saving mode!)
The S9 will give you better Upload Download Speeds, Optical Image Stabilization & Electronic Image Stabilization, 5G Cellular (No guarantee that the SnapDragon or Exynos versions in the A8 & A8+ will be 5G ready for 2020!)
My Mother has the 2017 A7 and I have the 2017 S8+ mine has a smoother interface but the battery life of the A7 is just crazy (And while the A7 is slightly slower it never lags or stutters and you do not notice the speed difference if you do not have them side by side) and in reality I almost never use the S8+ to the full extent apart from RAM 4 gigs is not enough on a modern flagship min 6 but 8 is better for a device that cost $1,349!
Galaxy S8 or S8+ if you game heavily with 3D intensive games or need 4K recording & high quality EIS & OIS, But I would go for the A8 or A8+ for battery life alone net alone save a few hundred dollars and still get a very similar user experience!
Lots of 2018 phones will be shipping without Oreo.. Manufacturer seems to avoid the project treble requirements
z, 01 Jan 2018@ 32,990 in the philippines for 6/64 i'd rather have the oneplus 5t..Exactly... You could get the 128/8gb variant of the 5T for that price range...
z, 01 Jan 2018@ 32,990 in the philippines for 6/64 i'd rather have the oneplus 5t..Or Mate 10
PHP32,990 price in here Philippines. Meh, Mate 10 will be a better choice😈
Mr. Dreamboy, 31 Dec 2017Im from PH. I already inquired this to the samsung sales agents at our mall. They told me that... morethat is way too expensive and there is no way a mid range phone can compete with a flasgship.
if the price is close to S8/8+/Note 8, might as well buy one of the three.
