I have been using my note 2 since early 2013 and I have never changed my battery, neither do I have a spare battery. However, the removable battery is very handy whenever the phone hangs and becomes irresponsive to both touch and all buttons (this happens only few times though). You can easily pop out the battery and you will be up and running within few minutes. What will you do when your phone battery is not removable?

Funny enough, I just upgraded my Note 2 to Note 4 few days back. I like the note series but I rarely use the S-pen anyway (only used for few weeks after purchase). I should have waited for this :(

this phone has better specs than sony xperia m4 aqua , i think samsung waited for people comment on m4 then samsung anounced a8 , a8 has same processor and same chipset so for sure gta san adreas wont play well, and we know only a snapdragon 800 or better plays gta san adreas so this wont, so gamers dont go for this

i had one of these type of phones and the battery is unremovable when the the application will crash i can do nothing but wait until the application fix itself. Since i can not turn the phone off 'cause all the keys are not going to respond anymore,,,,, so sumsung pls design a phone that has removable battery iF possible. whaterver would be your purpose of designing the phone with unremovable battery, but phones with removable battery is still better.

samsung did some crazy things this year releasing almost 8new phones, were by iphone just released just 2phones for this year but would be releasing 6s soon....why cant samsung be like that now look at the phone market, some of samsung crazy fan like me would be confuse of the mobile phone to buy, there is the GALAXY S6 & S6 EDGE THE NOTE 5, THE GALAXY J SERIES, THE GALAXY S4 ACTIVE, and GALAXY A8...... And so on, all are this year phones samsung jes keep wasting money building rubbish and confusing us.
only GOD knw how many phones there gona build next year
IPHONE user are the lucky ones they can easyly chose out of the two phones apple built than thinking all week on the phone to buy like we the #Galaxy_die_hard_fan

to say the fact, about this phone....the phone size is great,also having one of the great battery the best body build........what i just wanna say is that samsung should stop fooling around with there sick phone, they should just stick whth there galaxy S series and Note including Grand, than feeding us with the same type of phones with different names and with the same menu.....look at iphone my worst phone enemy there are on one brand which is there 5 or 5s up ward

This should be very well priced. If not, its older sibling, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (and/or even the Note 3) would be a better buy. ;)

SnapDragon 615 is good chipset but GPU is very weak, comparable to Adreno 320.
Strategy of Qualcomm is very stupid, there is strong SoC called 810 and there is weak SoC called 615 (SD 410 is nothing for Mid-class phones) and there is SD 808 with adreno 418... Similar to Adreno 330 but slightly slower than 420 but this SoC never used in Mid-Class phones, only G4 used it but its hi-end class phone.
So, there should be another SoC between AD 810 and 615 or SD 808 must replace 615 for Mid-Range class...
Adreno 405 is below average for todays( and/or upcoming ) 3D games and Apps.
2 or 3 gb memory and Octa Core cpu won't help for that, people don't buy phones for calculating impossible math problems.
According to specs A8 will use SD 615, very bad choice.
Any newer MTK, Kirin and Intel SoCs could burn it out, then A8 will be a dead phone with post-tech cpu just like A7 and A5, both of them too expensive for such specs and they are already outdated.
I hope sammy change its mind for SoC...
No one likes SD 615 except newbies/new users.
