The Exynos 7420 was the chipset used for Samsung Galaxy Note 5. It means that chipset belongs or used for top-of-the-line type of phones.... Its just Exynos 7420 is the 2015 edition and Exynos 8890 is the 2016 edition.

This A8 with Note 5's CPU is actually pretty good, A8(2015) had a weak SD 615.

The 7420 is still pretty good you know. This phone is all right, with the battery, the SD slot, the camera, the RAM, the FHD sAMOLED display... This is a nice mid-higher range phone.

Anonymous, 30 Sep 2016why does everyone talk about the s galaxys and don't make such a big buzz abut these ones?maybe becuz the S series has the flagship tag? the A series are considered high end and the rest either mid or low range, i have A5 2016 and it's amazing (could've been better with 3GB ram but no lag yet) i bet this A8-6 will fulfill the needs without being a flagship and with a kinda reasonable price :)

AnonD-308243, 30 Sep 2016yeah true but in the past i had a nokia that had a built in fm radio antena and it was so cool... moreone easy solution is listening stream radio on any app or website (although u need data for that) either way u try to compare only the radio feature? keep in mind that having radio or not doesn't add any income to Samsung so no real point of having it, A8 doesn't gorilla glass anywhere i believe that's more of a concern than radio feature
