Also do the wifi, bluetooth, NFC, account synchronization, mobile data and wifi scanning. You'd better leave all of that controls disabled.
I ordered one of these but came with a broken red subpixel. I had to return it to the seller. It's not the first time that I get a Samsung phone with broken pixels from scratch. What a bummer.
Where is A5???
Why samsong going now to make big screens.. that's a very big problem to me. I think others have same problem. Hard workers and many aisans (normally asians not chubby) can't haddle big screen than 5 inchs in onehand.. in bus train or walking.. hope new high ends & midranges with 5 inch display from samsung.
Does the location and the always on display mode being ON drains the battery? this is a new phone I bought last sunday and after 4 hours the battery goes down to 95% from 100% (full charge).
Nice phone, but way too expensive! Where I live, the price is the same as my Xperia XZ1 or a Nokia 8!!! (excellent phones b.t.w.)
Samsung's pricing on their mobile phones is getting out of hand. Good phones, yes, of course. Worth the huge jump in price? Nope. This price, for a mid-ranger? What???
Phones in general are getting way too expensive. But it's our own fault because we keep paying stupid amounts of money for phones with things like dual ego camera's. And then most people don't even know the basics of their own $500 phones, let alone the people with their $850+ phones...
How far will we go for bragging rights and to inflate our ego's? And then complain about how much it costs... (I use Sunday's poll as reference)
Short question: A7 (2017) or A8 (2018) ?
It maybe seems like easy dilemma but I found that A8 is successor of A5 (and A8+ is successor of A7) and now I'm in doubt - regarding power, quality and price.
Thanks in advance ...
mo, 05 Feb 2018The battery of SG A8 2018 is a good , better than S8. However I still use Mid Power Saving mod... moreObviously it will have better battery backup since its a low-end device overpriced @$550+
Turgesh, 04 Feb 2018What do you think of the battery?
The battery of SG A8 2018 is a good , better than S8. However I still use Mid Power Saving mode to extend the battery usage.
I like this phone camera, its photo is so nice , beautiful color ! In low light place ,it still can do good picture , but in too dark place (not recommended).
Ok... 50 euros down, 50 more to go and this phone will be great deal for 389 euros on Balcan.
Turgesh, 04 Feb 2018What do you think of the battery? Battery is very good. Better than S8 models (both).
Isaac, 01 Feb 2018The USB specs is listed as 2.0. Is this correct for a 2018 phone ? Can anyone confirm ? Can we... moreNo, usually low end phones dont have that capability unlike their Flagship Counterparts.
jdion, 02 Feb 2018to add. it ia priced a little more than a sealed bnew galaxy s7 esge. I suggest you get the flagship S7 Edge instead.
This mobile phone is little bit overpriced but it has Aperture f/1.7 for rear camera . Its picture quality during daytime ( bright light place) is pretty good, but in dark place , where too low light place ,it's picture cannot compare SG note 8 or Huawei mate 10 pro..
As I prefer to watch movie via YouTube, it's very comfortable for my eyes because it has super AMOLED screen ( infinity display) plus Bluelight filer option that can reduce eye pain for looking at the screen long time.
Its feature IP68 dust/ water proof help me a lot , of course I need it.
Nowaday Chinese mobile phone are very good too such as Oppo, Vivo, Huawei and Xiaomi. But I still prefer to use Samsung because of solid build and durable especially the latest models.
If this had OIS, and baked with Oxygen OS, then this would be the best midranger or flagship killer on the market. Too bad Samsung has useless touchwiz software, which stops me from buying there phones.
