Isaac, 01 Feb 2018The USB specs is listed as 2.0. Is this correct for a 2018 phone ? Can anyone confirm ? Can we... moreNo, usually low end phones dont have that capability unlike their Flagship Counterparts.
jdion, 02 Feb 2018to add. it ia priced a little more than a sealed bnew galaxy s7 esge. I suggest you get the flagship S7 Edge instead.
This mobile phone is little bit overpriced but it has Aperture f/1.7 for rear camera . Its picture quality during daytime ( bright light place) is pretty good, but in dark place , where too low light place ,it's picture cannot compare SG note 8 or Huawei mate 10 pro..
As I prefer to watch movie via YouTube, it's very comfortable for my eyes because it has super AMOLED screen ( infinity display) plus Bluelight filer option that can reduce eye pain for looking at the screen long time.
Its feature IP68 dust/ water proof help me a lot , of course I need it.
Nowaday Chinese mobile phone are very good too such as Oppo, Vivo, Huawei and Xiaomi. But I still prefer to use Samsung because of solid build and durable especially the latest models.
If this had OIS, and baked with Oxygen OS, then this would be the best midranger or flagship killer on the market. Too bad Samsung has useless touchwiz software, which stops me from buying there phones.
for me, the more than Php10,000 price difference vs Oppo F5 does not justify the difference in screen, CPU, and front camera. if its priced under Php 20,000 i would definitely consider and recommend it.
Mamum, 31 Jan 2018S7 is better with a 1440p display and since the s6 is getting oreo it probably means the s7 is... moreMaybe S6 will get Oreo, but not the new Samsung experience.. 3rd major update will be just Android number and security patch, with some smaller twicks...
The USB specs is listed as 2.0. Is this correct for a 2018 phone ? Can anyone confirm ? Can we even stream video using a type C to hdmi adapter at that speed?
Fred, 31 Jan 2018Or S8, since it is now the same price!Samsung Galaxy S8 is very nice smartphone ( design, camera, water-resistant..), but what 's I don't like is it's battery .
S7 is better with a 1440p display and since the s6 is getting oreo it probably means the s7 is getting android P, s7 is also way faster and has wireless charging but also probably the only downside is the micro usb 2.0 on the s7
snowdesertashok, 29 Jan 2018better go with samsung s7. what's your reasoning
Geogre, 29 Jan 2018So I can't really choose which phone should I buy A8(2018) or S7. Which one should I buy and why?better go with samsung s7.
So I can't really choose which phone should I buy A8(2018) or S7. Which one should I buy and why?
boo, 31 Dec 2017True, but 5T is a high-end phone while the A8 is a mid-ranger. So you can't compare them. But they cost about the same
Super Presh, 28 Jan 2018The screen being more narrow is it good or bad?For me its good, maybe its just 3-4 mm narrower so its not noticeable until you use it, however its a lot taller, maybe 10 mm, after one day of using i think its good.
For the camera, at first you will not notice the improvement over the a5 2017, but if you zoom the captured image, its really sharper also when i tried that comparison i did not set the a8 resolution to 16 mp, just 10 mp and its sharper than a5 2017 so maybe its a good improvement also the camera focus is improve, on a5 2017 some image are blurry due to my shaky hand but on a8 it is less or frequently no blur at all.
Speaker, almost identical i think. Maybe becuase i am not that technical in terms of that.
For the performance. I use samsung switch when i bought it so my app, settings and etc. are copied in A8. So far the A8 handle it well with a typical 1.4 to 1.8 gb or ram left. I am not a hardcore gamer so i cant give a review about that.
I am not a native english speaker so bare with it guys.
Super Presh, 28 Jan 2018The screen being more narrow is it good or bad?Hard to reach the top part of the screen with your thumb specially thos with small hands eg. girls.
Videos tend to look hideously over stretched or have black borders if not optimized for 18:9 gimmick.
Basically its not a phone but a PHABLET beyond 6" 7" Tablet.
