Using A8 since last couple of weeks and must say thay i am surprised to see how much improvment Sammy has brought to its Mid range phones keeping in view that i am a very heavy user of mobile phone and utilize it not only as media device but also for using emails and social media...
**Yes thats true there is no hanging what so ever while using this device user experience is smooth.
**Display is very nice with bright and vivid colors.to be honest i was not expecting these results but its full HD at 386ppi and super Amoled technology can reproduces very good results.
**Using two sims and works perfectly well..
**Good decent results for both cameras..
**Finger print sensor is smooth in operation and unlocks phone with single touch..
**Battery life is decent and with my usage it last almost a day.
** Build quality is very good and really like the slim profile(5.9mm)...
**Themes are available and gives device totally new feel and look.
**Call quality is superb
**
Overall its a good device and i can reccomend this to others who are looking for a decent device in this price range.
If you turn on power saving mode, than i think this will switch off haptic feedback as well..

In regarding battery life, this phone is one of the best performers. I consistantly get 5:30hours-9:30hours screen on time depending on my usage. My phone is exynos version(A800F).

Get a Note 4 if they have the same price .. faster chipset more ram better screen s-pen .. the upside the A8 has over the Note is that it's much thinner and better looking and has the awesome "themes" .. the Note 4 is also good looking .. I would go for the Note if they have similar price tags .. I've had a Note 4 now i have a Note 5 .. the Note 4 is a legend. it's a Note, and Notes are beasts ..

The only thing I don't like about this phone is the battery. You literally have to do all the tricks to save power. In effect you have to sacrifice a lot of good features that this phone offers. It is also not a good phone for gaming since battery drains too quickly. I was playing plants vs. zombies2 on this phone and after just 40 mins. I already lost 30% of the battery life and the phone heated up. Seems like the brightness of the screen plays a big factor when consuming battery. I have to set it on the lowest possible level to save power and just turn it up if I need to read something over the net.
I also noticed that using two sim cards on this phone compared to one drains the battery more quickly.
If it had a better battery performance this phone would have been perfect for me.

Hi guys, next month i have plan to buy a new phone. Im confuse in choosing between lenovo vibe shot and samsung galaxy a8. I use my phone mostly for gaming, if in percentage maybe 50% for gaming, 30% for call, 10% for social media, 5% for music, and 5% for take photos. Could you all give me advice and suggestion, please? Between those two. If you could, give the reason too. Thank you very much before, and sorry for my bad english.
