With the 1 GB user-accessible memory on the phone, it won't be a big hassle in my opinion.

HTC Desire X is a great phone entering with Ice Cream Sandwich, has a dual core 1 GHz processor with great graphics, and has a whopping 1650 mAh battery; but the downside is that it has a weak buttons (the power lock and volume key has a weak response and gets damaged easily.
2. The only weakness of Galaxy Ace 2 is that it's CPU power is slightly underclocked at 800 MHz, resulting in a slight lag when using many apps/live wallpaper. Samsung tried to tip the scales back to them by putting a VGA camera in front for video calling and self-portraits.
3. Xperia sola has a great timescape UI and the like, but suffers a weak and sometimes non-responsive shutter key, a 1320 non-removable mAh battery and causes a big hassle when the phone hangs (yes this happens, even in dual core phones).
Now, to rank them up according to practicality:
1. Galaxy Ace 2

I dont know if that is th... moreI have asked Samsung about the update and the Galaxy Ace 2 has a high possibility of actually receiving the update. It's not yet phased-out, and has a dual core processor, which is one of the requirements for the update.

What about Cherry Mobile Flare, about the same specs for... moreThough at first I suggest getting the Cherry Mobile because of the price, The Galaxy Ace 2 is on its way on getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. For me to comment better, may I request the full specs list from the screen (resolution and size), battery capacity, and if possible, the chipset, CPU and the GPU of the Cherry Mobile handset.
