The phone was officially launched in mid-May in selected places... They have confirmed that in India it was expected to release in Q2... By august end m dead sure it wud b released...

CNET is stating that this phone will be available from July end and going to cost 351 US $.
we will get Samsung Galaxy Nexus for 349$. No idiot will by it for 351$.

Samsung, please release your sg ace 2 as soon as possible here in india . Because your ace and ace plus are not doing good bussines with their washed out screen and poor battery life. Earlier ace sold in india with a high price tag with chief plastic and poor specification. And again ace plus has been released with a minor improvements and of course an irretating head set. Both lacks camera shutter button. You must take care of your customer as well. Now lets see what ace 2 is going to do. Hope it will not frustrate the customers in terms price and specifications.

good phone.. bought this two weeks ago here in phils in an online store.
one thing i didn't like is the quality of videos taken in low light..
for pictures, shutter speed is slow and its autofocus makes the led flash "on" for about 5 seconds. but quality of picture is still nice..
overall performance is okay for my daily use (calls, games, texting, pictures, videos, browsing). its just really on the camera..
