Because no update information from my device at that I check the OTA, so I tried Portugal Jelly Bean. When there was people said in Indonesia had available official Jelly Bean but for Jakarta area, I came to Samsung Service Center. It is lucky for users who live there, how about users who live in Bali, should they go to Jakarta wasting money for pay a flight just for update official Jelly Bean? The other alternative use firmware in www.sammobile.com or www.samsung-updates.com

AnonD-158589, 18 Jul 2013hello i like to ask for your opinions go to JB update or not people who make the update ... moreAfter i installed jelly bean on my ace 2 some three weeks ago i had nothing but very positive comments about the new update and its performance on my phone...but... now i have had a taste of reality. The performance & speed is just terrible. Sometimes the phone freezes up if too many apps are open in the background. I have also had to restart the phone at times. Overall i believe the ace 2 is not powerful enough to handle JB. I will be going back to gingerbread. If you are one of those who is desperately waiting for JB release in your region then i suggest there is no harm in updating to JB to try it out. Afterall it has some good features and worth the try. Eventually and most likely you will decide to revert back to GB very soon. If you dont mind the slowness of JB and have megatons of patience then JB is the baby.

Couldn't get the JB update OTA, had to root and flash the official update released by Samsung. Loving the JB features but the lag and surprise restarts really kill the fun.

Tried to update OTA last Wednesday coz KIES doesn't work but no update found. I also tried to go to the service centres in Alabang yesterday but had to go to my sister's place for lunch, didn't feel like going afterwards since it was beginning to rain.

But if firmwares at Sammobile are official, why can't people update through Samsung Kies...Why take the risk?
