I had just done factory reset my device. Now the SMS notification is working again. And the icon Skype (when sign in) is appear again on notification bar (top left).

for transfering contacts you can import them by enter contact-press menu button- more- import/export-import from sim card.

Still use Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (I8160XXMD4), no root. Until now this firmware works fine. If I open Chrome then browse YouTube website and watch it (streaming), sometimes this device bad lag. No notification SMS is a bug.

i forgot to tell u that u must have installed kies (UsbFlash disk) in order that Odin3 will recognize your phone!

well u need to downoad first JB MB2 OR MB4 leaked (mb2/mb4 has 2 files) and the PIT file is the third file to repartition your ram in order to have 624 ram and flash it with Odin3 (remember in odin when flasing the first time select the case with RE-Partition,Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time), u will find a tutorial on Xda-forums or on Youtube!

If u have installed the Mb2 or Mb4 then u should flash the JB UK with Odin3 (remember here u must select only the cases with the Auto reboot and F.reset time) and insert the Pda file only! then start! And finaly do a hard reset after u have installed the JB UK!

Nikidroid, 03 Jun 2013The Galaxy Ace 2 doesn't get ICS, it go up to Jelly Bean 4.1.2.i like playing game like candy crush, line pop, etc. better stay in Ginger bread or must update it to JB ? can GB install all that game?
