I certainly agree with Nikidroid. If you want JB, then get a device which already has it on in the first place.
FWIW, updates are not made overnight and shipped the next day. They are also tested and validated first, and more so with those rolling-out on carrier networks. Also, updates could cause more problems than they are worth (i.e. try googling feedback for early adopters/users of SGA2 on JellyBean and you will see that they are mostly not happy) so there is probably good reason why the updates are delayed.
I've recently seen the same problem. My wife's SGA2 was bought last December, and during a trip they took last weekend, some of the photos (maybe 2 in 100) taken with the SGA2 appeared with grey lines/squares/cuts in them. Currently using an Apacer 16GB class 10 card on it. Tried other mSD cards too. The problem appears random though, as video captures and photos are captured normally all this time.

You just insert file I8160XXMC8_I8160TMNMC3_HOME.tar.md5 only, leave the pit, SSL.dll, CSC (your device before do this should running leak Jelly Bean MB2 or MB4). Use Odin that the link give, when your device connected to Odin, the .com part will have blue color.
Lindar, 04 Mar 2013I bought this phone before one week ago. I upgrade it very easy to android 4.1.2 jelly bean it... moreI had tried the official Jelly Bean Portugeues region, yes total RAM became 624 MB, but the used RAM is higher than I expected, more than 500 MB in usually, the free RAM was only 100 more a little MB. I didn't install many apps that running in background. I prefer keep it the free RAM bigger than I should restart my device to make the free RAM bigger like was in running Jelly Bean. In Gingerbread I am currently using, my downloaded apps that run in the background just 2 or 3, my device free RAM is 245 MB, better than Jelly Bean.
Some lags I experienced too using Jelly Bean, yes, first time after upgraded Galaxy Ace 2, it was fast, as fast as Gingerbread. But, several days later, it slower like leak Jelly Bean, and worse, I experienced too bad lag when streamed YouTube. While in Gingerbread, the responsive in typing, executing apps, first time till several days after, is fine and fast.
