Nishu, 11 Oct 2011Hello friends.
I can't transfer files through USB. I read the manuals & it has mentioned ... moreTo be able to transfer files using USB cable:
1. Connect your phone to your PC using USB cable.
2. Select the setting icon in your menu screen.
3. Select "Applications".
4. Select "Development"
5. Select "USB Debugging"
6. Select "Ok" when your phone prompts "Allow USB debugging"
NOTE: this works on Android version 2.2 Froyo. Haven't tried it yet on 2.3 Gingerbread.
[deleted post]you'll never be able to update the unofficial gingerbread via Kies just in case updates or "bug corrections" are available.
mscutiners, 11 Oct 2011hi guys im from the philippines how will i upgrade my ace to gingerbread? in kies it says this... moreUpdate your Kies via internet or download the latest version. To make your battery last longer, Disable packet data, Bluetooth, and WiFi when not in use. Disable the auto Sync as well. If you will click and hold on the home screen for a few seconds, a window will appear. select "widgets", scroll down, and click on the "program monitor". The program monitor will then appear on your home screen. That way, you'll be able to identify what programs are using your battery and turn the program off before you lock your phone.
