Buratus, 13 May 2011Yes, you can save the downloaded applications to sd card. The sd card is actually the default... morei facing some problem here... some of the applications, games, etc will automatically save into internal storage instead of memory card and i'd tried to move these applications and games to memory card, but failed to do that. pls help to solve it. appreciate your help...
meanwhile, anybody know how to create a folder (arrange applications and games accordingly) in the home page for samsung galaxy ace?
many sites are showing that galaxy ace has bluetooth v 3.0 & many are showing 2Which one is correct????
Can anyone confirm if we can just download a player from the Android market to replace the mediocre player in Ace?
And someone mentioned video recording upgraded to VGA from QVGA with Gingerbread.
Who can confirm these two matters?
Thanks alot, guys.
AkR123, 14 May 2011Can somebody help me decide between Defy & Ace? I've googled & found things about both... moreDefy is being sold with eclair (2.1) instead of the much-coveted froyo (2.2), but if can wait for the froyo update, then go for the Defy.
Also, the Defy is slightly more expensive than the Ace. And the Motoblur skin is less enticing than the Ace's Touchwiz 3 UI. The Defy's "scuba-diver" look is also somewhat unsophisticated, and chubby-looking; and unless you are a super-klutz who drops his phone into toilet bowls, swimming pools, or coffee, you probably DONT NEED this much heavy-duty protection ON a handset.
Rahul Arora, 13 May 2011Hello Everyone,
Thanks to all of you nice folks for sharing so much and helping each other, k... moreSGS 2 is nice and all, but in case you overlooked it, the price is 3 times that of Ace-- meaning, 3 Aces, equal just 1 SGS 2.
The SGS 2 is a fine upgrade, and it looks eerily similar to Ace in every way except size (the SGS 2 is 4.3"), so good luck if you choose to buy it.
My only gripes about SGS 2, aside from the sky-high price, is the "plasticky, flimsy back cover." Sammy could have thrown in some premium chrome or metal to make the pricey handset look REALLY PRICEY. But they didnt.
In this "pricey handset" wars, I recommend the HTC Sensation, actually. Downside of the Sensation is just the heavier weight, but its not a dealbreaker, since you would be getting a STURDIER device, and not something that feels-and-looks FLIMSY.
But then again, Sensation will be coming out slightly more expensive than the SGS 2.
Rahul Arora, 13 May 2011Hello Everyone, Thanks to all of you nice folks for sharing so much and helping each other, k... moredude you should obviously go for samsung galaxy S2 cuz it's got a 1.2 GHz DUAL CORE processor....and i gb ram along with 205 GPU for awesome graphics....you should definitely buy an S2...

sam-93, 13 May 2011i hv been using the ace for about a month now and im very happy with d phone except fr d fact ... moreHey! Have you ever tried "Soft Reset" or "Hard Reset"? These two actions usually restore the factory setting of the phone. I've already done this several times on my previous phones. Try to search the internet on how to do this on galaxy ace. If the soft reset don't work, try the hard reset. It will erase all your installed applications though. If it still don't work. Try the "Emergency Firmware Recovery" in "Tools" option in KIES.
ttt, 13 May 2011can contacts in samsung glxy ace transfer into computer like nokia??plizz reply me...Yes. With Galaxy Ace, You can synchronize your files and contacts with your PC. But you have to download "Kies" to be able to do that. Just run kies, connect your Ace to your PC via the provided usb cable, and do the synchro. All the options are given in the tabs.
