AnonD-8360, 13 May 2011i hv been using the ace for about a month now and im very happy with d phone except fr d fact ... moreHey! Have you ever tried "Soft Reset" or "Hard Reset"? These two actions usually restore the factory setting of the phone. I've already done this several times on my previous phones. Try to search the internet on how to do this on galaxy ace. If the soft reset don't work, try the hard reset. It will erase all your installed applications though. If it still don't work. Try the "Emergency Firmware Recovery" in "Tools" option in KIES.
ttt, 13 May 2011can contacts in samsung glxy ace transfer into computer like nokia??plizz reply me...Yes. With Galaxy Ace, You can synchronize your files and contacts with your PC. But you have to download "Kies" to be able to do that. Just run kies, connect your Ace to your PC via the provided usb cable, and do the synchro. All the options are given in the tabs.
If factory reset is done then would the inbuilt software like thinkfree and others (whose registered version is provided) would also be deleted our only the one which I have downloaded would be deleted...
Thanks to all of you nice folks for sharing so much and helping each other, keep up the good work people :)
Well, my question is that if you upgrade your OS to Gingerbread then can you roll it back to Froyo if gingerbreak troubles?
And could anyone suggest that if i should go for 'Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830' or 'Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II'. My only problem is that I9100 is huge and i feel would be a little uncomfortable but i was impressed by 1GHZ processor. If anyone using this set then please share your feedback.
Thanks to all :)

AnonD-3112, 12 May 2011Hey! I see many people trying to compare Samsung Galaxy Ace and the Nokia C7. You can't do th... moreI guess no one can give an opinion that'll satisfy every individual. But to write one that's directed at the most likely market for these phones, I'd say OS and UI are VERY big factors. What's the use of any advantage underneath the phone if the OS/UI are failures which is the link to the user? Symbian^3 is a failure--Nokia had the market already and they began losing that market because of Symbian^3. I've tested it and realized I won't be happier with S^3 today as I was with S60V2 three years ago. So, I went for Android and I'm just as happy with it today as I was with S60 then.

AnonD-7894, 11 May 2011Dear All, Hi, I just needed to know which phone is better?? Samsung Galaxy Ace or Nokia C7??... moreAndroid is better than symbian. But if you want have oled screen C7 is best for you. Ace has ordinary tft screen. Ace bad on batery life when using 3g / hsdpa. it get hot on batery. in performance ace is the best for me than symbian.
Hey! I see many people trying to compare Samsung Galaxy Ace and the Nokia C7.
You can't do that folks. Don't put them on "compare" just because they are available at an almost similar price.
In terms of OS, definitely the Ace wins the bet. But that's all. There's nothing else that's better than C7.
Nokia C7, runs on Symbian^3 which is really fast. It has a much sharper AMOLED display. A better, sleek and classy look. 8Mpx cam, HD recording. Front-facing camera for video calls. Personally, I found the User Experience much more "RICHER" in the Nokia C7 than on the Samsung Galaxy Ace. Android may have a 100 advantages over the Symbian^3 OS.. But OS is not the only thing users want. A better Hardware, a better battery back up, great display, much better audio output. Also, HD games & loads of new apps are now available for the Symbian^3 devices (completely different OVI Store for them) and well, you can watch HD movies too.
Yet, I would recommend you to actually visit the Nokia Priority outlets and ask for a Demo. You might borrow an Ace from one of your friends and check it out. I bet you'll find the Nokia c7 experience, much better than the Samsung Galaxy Ace.
