1 & 2: many expert here, they easily offended by gadget that can't even make a call. They can answer that
3: in Indonesia, i believe u (and u'r wife), use more than 1 phone. Very huge price and quality difference in operator. I use indosat for call/text, tri for data. What is u'r wife purpose in buy the phone, is it because of camera purpose only, or for social networking/browser/games/apps?
If for camera, sure it's pureview. but for social networking/browser/games/apps, u can't expect much. nokia symbian is outdated. Samsung win in social networking/browser/games/apss. If u'r wife is journalist/personal business/whatsoever, samsung is great. snap photo then share instantly. With nokia u can't get much.. just photo

another thing,picture for social netwoking or for print it ?
if for social netwoking ,i suggest u galaxy,
for picture quality of kos pure can win due to his big megapixel,but for social networking only need 8 megapixel for nice picture quality.
if you want to be pro photographer for wedding or sumthing else,for that issue,u can purchase big megapixel camera.haha just kidding. :)
i choose galaxy,because can straigt away download to social networking,and can be edit with cool app on the spot before uploading..

1. how much is nowadays price of these product ? it's fine wherever you are, just want to raw measure it in indonesia
2. i know this is a special camera, but regardless of its main function as camera, which one is better compare to nokia pureview on aspect below :
- quality of the picture (in enough brightness and lack brightness), not the size (i believe nokia pureview is much bigger)
- worthed on price comparison between those two gadgets ? all i know pureview is more expensive :p
3. if you are given choices to choose this Galaxy Camera and Nokia Pureview, which one will you choose and why ? what is the main reason for you to choose ?

This is silly, someone try to challenge the camera phone king.. but forget the basic function of what phone supposed to be: calling. almost same price range, and please tell me how the shoot from 16.3 mp cam can beat 41 mp cam (effective 38 mp). if u want photo, u must go with nokia pureview. What for handphone if u can't even make a call? failed.. imagine u'r in critical condition, or u'r family in critical condition, u wanna contact them, but u only bring galaxy camera.. how do u respond that instantly? by tweet them? or by chat them? old people don't always use smartphone, mostly use basic phone, they don't check internet very often.
Don't joking around.. phone nowadays is so vital. If a device can't call directly, don't put them in smartphone categories, put them in gadget categories.

mahbub, 16 Jan 2013whats the price range ?is it so much high or not ? you can get it for P19,700.00, it's worth owning... this galaxy cam is great compared to others. you can own at lease two gadgets in one item... (thumbs up!!!)

This product is rediculous. For starters it is 'not' even a phone for the stupid and rich. It is simply a bad camera with cheap hardware running a free operating system. You 'cannot' make regular phone calls or send SMS/Text Messages. Last but not least for connectivity where there are no WiFi HotSpots are available you need Mobile Data connectivity which in no country of the great god's world is free and it is very very expensive in most countries. So if you buy this gastly of a product you 'still' need to carry another 'normal' mobile/cell phone in your 'other' pocket, just in case. Samsung/Google = 0 and Nokia/Symbian = 1 = touche.

Hello,
I buy this camera from Shenzhen china before 4 days with package (extra battery,charger,pouch,Bluetooth big headphone)I really like this camera specially it's zoom is unbelievable and on 16mp it's picture is very fine also it's full he'd video is also very nice and also I am satisfied from its battery performance. We can use this for wifi and 3G networks same like iPad we not able make voice calls as simple mobile but can use viber and such applications but in this low price really Samsung give too much things I not feel for a minute I waste my money suggest to buy this cam for business home use and also for fun best regards
