AnonD-82371, 27 Nov 2012Not really, the Nokia 808 is a lot better than this. I've already compared them. The Nokia pro... moreYou're right nokia 808 is better PHONE but galaxy camera isn't a phone. . .it's not voice call unable. . It's actualy a camera having android os for better experience. . If you've compared the quality. . .then i must tell you one thing processing time of 5mp image (oversampled) is less in 808 . .try taking images in 38mp (so called 41mp) and then calculate the speed. .
Lose less zoom in 808 will give you 8x digital zoom (and the image will not be oversampled) but you can get 21x optical zoom in glx cam way better than loseless, and after all it's worth comparing a phone with smartcamera!!
You are not wrong but. . Ppl using 808 won't get 21x goodness , pop up xenon and much more software goodies. . .
What is the point of buying this phone without GPRS on the go? Wifi are not available in the train.

I've already compared them. The Nokia processes the photos a lot faster and a bulky phone? This is alot heavier and bulkier than the 808.
i'm very dispointed, iithis must be gsm enabled why samsung made like this
I'd prefer this one over to Nokia 808 PureView. This one has a quad core and 1GB of RAM while 808 is a single core with maybe 512MB. So instead of buying a bulky phone with 41MP that I wouldn't use not to shorten CPU life, I'd get an android camera with 16MP, optical zoom and a quad-core well capable of any kind of processing - imaging, gaming, wtv. Plus its 3G connectivity would be just perfect to use my mobile flat plan net SIM card with it!
I just wonder how much can the battery endure... Wish it was like Moto's Razr Maxx!
sham, 18 Nov 2012Lol dude nokia made 808 41 mega pixel camera so why that was kicked out from the market? Bcoz ... moremuch better if you type your message on an iphone5 or 4s, this is really the best one for you, just come on with the no 1.
AnonD-77593, 17 Nov 2012Of course it has a SIM Card, I just got one today!!does this support voice calling?? specs says it doesnt support gsm voice communication...
if for snapping pictures just for fun this is the right camera for it but if you guys are really into pictures quality...i would say find a realy digital camera or DSLR of some sort...but this is a great innovation from samsung. At least they tried something new for digital camera category.
Can i use bluetooth headset for andriod apps like viber for calling? Advice much appreciated.
AnonD-78273, 18 Nov 2012I totally understand the use now, I was really missing these capabilities in my sony cybershot.good futuristic and full internet with android is much fun
Image quality wise i think Canon is better.
Price wise i think Canon is much more affordable.
Yea, this camera comes with lots of smart devices capabilities. But i think i will just pass.
To me, image quality is much more important for a point and shoot camera.

SIM No => Could you explain me... moreThis is actually a camera with wifi+cellular, it's like an ipad. You can't make a voice call with it. But you have full access with the internet, maybe GSMarena mistype on SIM field with no, It's actually has it.
Ill just wait for galaxy camera GC200 it has higher mpix cam, 1080p display & 2gb of ram
