This would be a perfect phone if it could just make voice calls, because I'm needing a new camera to take on holiday.
Because I always have to carry my camera, my phone and another phone to put a pre-pay SIM in for whichever country I'm in to keep in touch with my family, and if this could do voice calls it would be perfect to combine the camera and second phone.

Had a look at this today at photokina and the display was clearly of AMOLED-type with pentile matrix. However the operationaly it was very well made. Could not judge the photo quality though.

No support for GSM voice communication.
Ok ... but I can make calls by 3G Network. I always use my Nokia N8 on 3G Network and I use to do a lot of calls using 3G Network ... What's the problem ??

why one expect it to be a phone when it is a camera this gizmo just providing a convenience to use it alternatively as a phone not purely made for phone calls and the best part is that you can edit your snaps after clicking it and due to phone features you can share it instantly.this is a innovation off course this is the only thing that makes samsung apart from other players.

Since NOKIA 808 has not made its model for LIDE-4G networks, so this model can rule the camera phones withing the range

Why do you people want this to be a phone?! Does it look even remotely comfortable to hold and use as a phone for voice calls?
I think this could be the iPhone point and shoots if Samsung prices this correctly. If this more than $399 it will be treated as just a silly niche product, nothing more.
