if ics is compatible with galaxy chat then why doesn't galaxy Y have an update??? they almost have the same specifications.... unfair
After looking at this,I DEMAND official ICS for my i9000 Samsung!
just thing with galaxy s3,note ,s2 itself is a plastic body then this phone is paper .....!!!weak battery and processor for ics , mine moto fire xt311 is best in comparision.!!
I think the only reason Samsung Chat may support ICS, is because of the crappy resolution, it's about at least 4 times less demanding that the resolution of SGS2. And i think its a capped version of ICS too.
Chat = Skype, KakaoTalk, Yahoo Messenger, or Tango. Without a secondary camera (video chat) the phone is useless -- in my opinion.
AnonD-38544, 04 Jul 2012Yeeees, but Galaxy S+ is too weak for ICS + TouchWiz... Pure hypocrisy...galaxy s+ already has ics
Finally something different from Samsung. It's expected to attract the business class, and the young. I hope Samsung are able to deliver the convenience / robustness that frustrated consumers of Blackberry are seeking.

I think this phone would be great! A few good additions would be a 5MP camera w/ LED or xenon flash, and a front-facing camera.

Sorry for the 320 x 240 resolution.
I bought the Vodafone Smart 2 (832 Mhz, 512 MB RAM, 320 X 480, flash LED) weeks ago.
I paid just € 99,00 and i'm happy with it.
very closed to Samsung Galaxy Pocket only difference of qwerty. Entry level phone means USD100 :-) for me it will notable and getable
Come on Samsung HVGA screen is a must. I would still insist that you put it in before release
