I literally only bought this phone because I was told it could run pokemon go, now this phones saying its not compatible with pokemon go. Biggest slap in the face ever. I immediately hate this phone.
i want to buy a phone, but confused between in this two core prime or j1 ace.which is better, please tell me.
Barely worth the measly $80 I paid for it. My G1 way back when ran better than this phone. Seriously unless your really hurting for a phone don't buy this. I kinda expected more from a Samsung product.
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2016Have 3 of these phones, all of them facebook fails. Removed and reinstalled, even did factory ... moreSame problem here, SD card won't work either, Metro told me it was the update on Facebook that's making it not work and their
working on it.
Had this phone for a year, the quality is shitier than the one I had before (Galaxy Y Young -lasted for 3 years) After just 6 months of purchase I accidentally dropped my phone around 1 feet high and since then I've had to factory reset twice, loosing all my temporary stuff (luckily I have a habit to backup every month), my SD Card port/driver stopped working, so I'm using just the internal memory....and it overheats like crazy.
When the seller had sent it to Samsung which was still under waranty they blamed me for the damage which to be fair its true BUT I don't expect all this for a 1 foot fall. My other phones survived way worse.
Tl;dr this phone is crap don't bug it invest in something with more quality
1 1/2 yrs later the phone is freezing up. I can't make calls. For over 100 dollars why is it that phones bearly hold 2 yrs. Really that isn't very old for electronics. I started having problems after 8 months and it has steadily gotten worse.
Anonymous, 07 Aug 2016What does FMR Cleaner Mean? Make it simple for those who do not understand...? Are you just sa... moreFMR Memory cleaner is an APP on google play. Run the app, tap "clean". Doing this may lock up or cause your phone to hang. Worst case scenario you will have to take the battery out and put it back in. Power up phone. Run the app and clean again. The RAM in this phone needs to be tempered it seems before it will run optimally. once this is done a few times the "lag" issue is resolved.
Have 3 of these phones, all of them facebook fails. Removed and reinstalled, even did factory data reset. I do not have an sd card installed, I was going to try to add one to see if that helps.

I was on the phone with Samsung for 3 hours they remoted in and did a factory reset... the people trying to help were ery nice but... it did not work...looks like they unloaded a boat load of cheap phones that they have no support or fix for after the latest Software updates... I just got this phone 8 months ago and I haven't even had it for a year and its worthless when wanting to run most simple apps. like Facebook... which should be on the phone already in my opinion. Many people have this "Cheap Phone" and are frustrated and just want a solution for the Glitch that seems to hve happened. Verizon has a fix... Att seems to have something to fix it... It's time Metro PCS gets on board withthis or do not give out phones that are outdate within 6 months otherwises it seems like a money making ploy... meaning you have to upgrade so quickly... Some of us do not have the money for the more expensive phones... So do not judge our frustration...
Anonymous, 07 Aug 2016Having the same issue not being able to get on Facebook after the update earlier this weekend,... moreFMR memory cleaner, may lock up on first use, pull battery, run again, phone runs a lot better
I've had this Samsung Galaxy Core Prime for only 5 mnths. I'm starting to have problems with downloading the Facebook app. It downloads but is not opening. It constantly unfortunately Facebook has stopped. I don't even have the app.open it's constantly pops up and stops whatever I'm doing. Has anyone else had this problem ? Can so.eine please give me feedback. All T-mobile wants to do is encourage you to purchase a new phone. This socks Samsung needs to take this phone off the market.
AnonD-569350, 07 Aug 2016Yes I have same problem. Your right Facebook will not open after Samsung's software update at ... moreyou have to close each window after use, and exit all apps the right way you can not minimize them you sign out, exit, close ect.
add some memory to it that helps. try not run to many apps at the same time and give it a couple of minutes to think.
if you want to do alot of work get an os with a quad core.
