3.5 mm removal is marketing strategy to push people to buy more gadget which is Wireless earphone. They have 'courage' to do that because phone is mainstream device that everyone, including sheeple, buy, not like laptop and computer

Samsung Galaxy Fold should also be Called Samsung Galaxy Butterfly! it really looks a #Butterfly when it is slightly fold.

I'm sick of people hating on this device. They assume they know better than engineers working on this for years. The 4.6" display is very good size for hand because it's thicker when folded. Unfolded you got nice small sized tablet.

700 dollars for all features and 1300 dollars because you can fold it.
I'd rather would buy a note 9 and a 300 dollar 7 inch tablet

the battery is the worst .. i thought at least 5000 mah or 7000mah ...that is enough to not buy it .. but they put a very good processor ..

For now, the Galaxy Fold will be a niche device for rich folks who can afford it. Let them be the guinea pigs. The Note series started off niche too.
I have no intention adding $82+ to my T-Mobile monthly bill to get this. The best solution is to wait for the tech to get better and for the price to get cheaper. They always improve and get cheaper.
I want the Galaxy Fold 2 and future successors to make the outside screen bigger. It looks weird closed with all that top and bottom bezel. Make it thinner. Make it cheaper. Perhaps make a foldable for the Note series.
I'll be all-in if they do all that.

I would have preferred if the overall phone was not as tall when in folded mode. This would have 2 effects
1. There wouldn't be so many space wasted on the front
2. The unfolded display would not have such a laptop-like aspect ratio, but more of a monitor ratio.

Nope! I really don't like this phone. For me it's ugly! 4.6" ?? In 2019?? But 7.3": they released again their 2013-2014 tablets. A 6.3" was better and 5.4" was better, to!
