Samsung Android Rumors

Samsung’s second foldable phone is expected to make its debut on February 11 or February 18 alongside the all-new flagship S20 series. We’ve already seen it in person and now the XDA Developers found an interesting string of code in the Galaxy Note9’s stable Android 10 release which reveals the Fold 2 will come with Super Fast charging.

The particular code shows the Fold 2’s charging animation and comes with a file titled “bloom_front_charging_effect_superfast”. Bloom is the internal code-name for the Fold 2 and it makes sense that Samsung will outfit its latest foldable with its Super Fast Charging tech which debuted on the Galaxy S10 5G. The actual charging speeds reach 45W provided you have the adequate charging adapter. The charging animation looks like it would fit perfectly on the Fold 2's small secondary notification display which sits next to its dual cameras.

We’ve already seen a listing with one of the alleged batteries of the second-gen Galaxy Fold which revealed the smaller one will hold a 900 mAh capacity. It remains to be seen how much charge the second cell will hold but rumors have it the combined capacity of both cells will be under 3,000 mAh.

The Fold 2 is also expected to come with an Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) display which should help it fare better in terms of durability compared to its predecessor. As for the Fold 2’s price, we’ve seen some rumors in the $1,000 range but we’ll just have to wait another month to find out for sure.

If a folder, i prefer the clam shell like this...(just change the outer body to a non-shiny - carbon fibre looking thing..)
