I bought recently Samsung grand 2 but in its spec itsaid that 1.5 gb ram but in product ram space showing as 870mb ram.
please explain the reason

No chance of grand 2 getting Android lollipop. It's a bitter truth that our aged device is not in the queue. I am happy with kitkat.

Dear all,
We (grand 2 users) may not receive Android lollipop update at all. Its more than a year old now and I don't think if Samsung has policy to update its old devices. Also its meager internal memory is too insufficient to allow Android lollipop download.
We have to accept that we have to remain stuck with Android kitkat forever.

i couldnot transfer files directly to external card through bluetooth and i do not get the setting to change it. is there any setting or what do i do to transfer files directly to external card??

I also switched my samsung phone with a htc phone and I am very happy with it.... Samsung phones have become good for nothing now... They start to lag when they grow old, they never have satisfactory battery performance, samsung doesnt give them updates, then what for people should buy samsung??

grand 2 has all the requirements for installing lollipop. we just have to wait.. i hope Samsung will release that soon as possible. so always think positive .lollipop is not always for the high value phones . it can also match with the mid range super hits like grand 2.

I have al ready upgrade from 4.3 to 4.4.2
but having much issues for my GPS and my smart stay.
my GPS cannot detect the satelite and very poor signal, so i couldnt use my GPS. and smart stay fiture did'nt work anymore.
i already ask samsung about this, they didn'nt have an upgrade OS 4.4.4 and they recomended to downgrade again to 4.3
is there any solution withouth root system?? thanks

tanzy, 20 Feb 2015we are not getting 5.0 android l update while moto g 2nd gen is auto updated already ....i dn&... moreThe services and availablity matters.. while the grand 2 is available on every shop the moto G2 is only available on flipkart.... Also samsung has service centres all over india but that's not the case with motorola... Its still working on the centres...
