Hi All,
I plan to update my Grand 2 to the latest firmware using Kies 3. The update size is shown as 990MB (Seriously!?) . Please help me on the following questions.
1. Is the latest version of the firmware stable with no issues ?
2. Do I need to factory reset the phone before I update?
3. Will my data and apps be preserved or I need to install again ?

I love this mobile. The screen is beautiful, I like it better then S3 amoled. Much finer.
Makes good pictures. Fast.
I did not update tot 4.4 I kept 4.3. Because Quickpic works better on 4.3.

AnonD-148807, 11 Feb 2015Now.i m gng 2 service centre to update my phone to KITKAT 4.4.2.is there having any problems l... moreNever update it, never, you will face a lot of problems, battery will drain so fast, camera failed to initialize, lots of hangs and bugs, i have to restart it everyday, ill tell you update will destroy your phone; and you'll gain nothing with this update truly nothing, a great phone on 4.3 and a trash on 4.4.2
