i upgraded my unit today using kies 3. and unfortunately, i have discovered that i can no longer make a call after the update. it displays "unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped". with this, the other line that im calling can only hear me for 3 sec and then it exits and hangs up.
the software upgrade is from 4.3 to 4.4.2 kernel version: 3.4.0-3206704 dpi@SWDD6323 31 WED NOV 5 21:22:56 KST 2014.
the upgrade makes the phone unusable, well at least for one major important fucntion - CALL!
HELP NEEDED. thank you guys!

Samsung has done an excellent job delivering the Android 5.0
Lollipop update to the Galaxy S5, turning a new page in the
book of Software Updates. We already know that the Android
5.0 Lollipop update will be provided to all the galaxy flagship
devices including the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy Note
3 and Galaxy S4, but it seems that Samsung might be planning
to show a little love to its mid range galaxy owners also. In a
new report from our sources at Samsung, it has been indicated
that Five Mid Range devices are also being considered for the
Lollipop 5.0 update. The devices that were lucky enough to make
it are – Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Galaxy S5 Mini,
Galaxy Mega 2 and Galaxy Grand Prime.

k, 02 Feb 2015Get battery doctor from google play,or juicedefender to save battery.There is no solution for the battery backup.... I have used all the apps like clean master, battery doctor and many other things but they all are of no use.. they all are craps... The only solution for this is to disable all the not required apps and install only the useful apps....
