I am using this phone from last 30 days .. it is good in all but a problem of auto Restarting once in a day and display go out and coming when dialing tel numbers (not often) after updating it to 4.4.2 kit kat.. so I reported this issue to Axiom .. they advised me to wait one week to resolve this issue by changing upcoming new software from Samsung.. if any body has the idea to solve this issue please comment to me

To those who are facing problem in KITKAT update (blue screen, auto restart, freezing etc.). here's how to solve, i did this to my grand 2 :)
Steps to hard reset your Samsung Galaxy Grand 2:
1. POWER OFF your Galaxy Grand 2 phone
2. Remove the SIM card
3. Press and hold the VOLUME UP, HOME button and the POWER button together until you see the Android robot, then release the buttons
4. Press the VOLUME DOWN to reach WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET and press the POWER button to confirm
5. Again use the VOLUME DOWN button to reach the YES - DELETE ALL USER DATA and confirm with the POWER button
6. Then choose REBOOT SYSTEM NOW with the POWER button
7. Wait until your Galaxy Grand 2 reset is completed.
8. Your Galaxy Grand 2 phone has been completely reset to its original factory settings

Bought it 2 weeks back. Please let me know how to upgrade it to 4.4 kitkat as software update is showing that i have the latest software running at 4.3.
Also will this phone be upgraded to 5.0 lollipop?

Clear all junk file using clean master. And perform security check by using cm security. Everyone having grand 2 will face problem after update to kitkat. But after cleaning junk file and resolving security issue device works fine. I had also faced same problem but nowdevice is working great.

hello guys....i bought my grand 2 about 1 weeks ago in 17k. it is awesome device .everything is fine till date.no heating issue no lag. smoot browsing.Good battry backup. Got kitkat updated version from Samsung. Just one thing free RAM available is around 250 mb out of 1.5GB. Not installed heavy games or apps.so needs to clear ram frequently while using Internet(2G). Apart from that everything is fine. Go for it.

after 5 updates finally installed kitkat 4.4.2, smooth an responsive but i think i have a glitch that one handed operation don't work when triggering the gesture. improves charging time fr 2% to 100% in 2hrs.
i also notice that it charge faster if the phone is in use.

After purchasing the phone, it usually updates to kitkat operating system. Whenever I unlock the screen, it freezes. I have been trying to address this problem to Samsung Mobile Philippines in their facebook and Twitter account but I did not get any reply.
