I'm having the same problem here :( Any solution to this please??..you can not update your grand 2 phone to kitket.all you have to do is fully reset your phone.then you can upgrade your phone to kitket by usb cabel by a computer.thats the only way you can install kitket to phone.

Xiaomi note 4g offer more specs and quality than this for sure look at the specs and stable Kitkat update .
open ur minds and definitely 80 bucks less. :)

comparison to LPDDR2, LPDDR3 offers a higher
data rate, greater bandwidth and power
efficiency, and higher memory density.
C3 and grand 2 have similar hardware. Grand2 use 1.5 gb lpddr2 ram whereas xperia c3 use 1 gb lpddr3 ram.
Lpddr3 ram on xperia c3 have better performance than lpddr2 ram on grand 2.
So even if grand 2 has 1.5 gb ram its performance may be not different than xperia c3 ram.
T2 ultra having same hardware with 1 gb lpddr3 ram.
But if u see almost in all benchmark tests (antutu, linpack , quadrant, glx, nenamark etc) t2 ultra is better performer.
Basemark 2 which is test for overall smartphone performance shows t2 ultra is 1.6 times better performer than grand 2.
There is also another reason.sonys ui is much faster with less graphics and less bloatwares (most of them can be uninstalled) while samsungs touchwiz due to heavy bloatwares consumes more ram and cpu.
So always compare mobile using benchmark tests.See ram type is it lpddr2 or lpddr3.
Do your own study find information on various sites.
You will get the better idea.

Anybody can criticize grand 2 but still it sells in million.love grand 2 if you are Samsung mid range fans.samsung is surely giving you features which no other brand gives you.It is the most featuristic mid range smartphone.It hangs if you open many application and not download application from trusted resources.
