123, 13 Jul 2016How can i upgrade android 4.2 to 4.4?The official OTA update for Grand 2 is up to android 4.4.2 (kitkat). There is no official update to 4.4.4 or 5.0. The Galaxy Grand Prime is introduced for that newer version which is updated all the way to 5.1.1.

Used this phone for a month.....compared to 2016 models its way behind. And grand 1 was any time better than grand 2. Reason: Camera ! and size.....5 inch is ideal ...anything above is difficult to hold ! and Grand 1 had good indoor camera pictures

My grand 2 is over heating and when I put the mobile data on the charge depletes in seconds...I have changed my battery but all was well only for one month now am back at the same issue again. Please advice on the way forward on the overheating issue and charge depletion. Thanks in advance
