I bought dis phone 2 months ago. When it was at android 4.3 os it was good performed bt now after updating 4.4 it is lagging in file manager & gallery. Videos are nt playing it shows unfortunately videos stopped. Whenever i uses 2nd sim in phone it shows unfortunately com.android.phone stopped. Plz can anyone help me how to solve dis problem bcoz Service centre guys says that they hv been replaced the motherboard & dis is the problem of ur sim or mmc bt i know dis may be the issue of software.

Plz somebody tell me, Is there any app that really works 2 hide my apps in the fon withot rooting bcoz there r many apps in the play store which does not work? Plz help....

Hello Grand 2 Users,
1.Update KitKat via OTA
2.Wipe user data & factory settings (After KitKat update)
3.Again check for update via OTA it will get update around 23Mb.
Follow these 3 steps, your phone will work perfectly.
Please Do Not Update Grand 2 Via Kies or Odin.

Too much disappointment.. this is my first samsung phone and learnt a great lesson.
Guys never go for samsung. Got this phone thinking the specificications are great for upper medium range mobile. The drawbacks are as follows.
1. Speaker quality is bad.. it noices when i hear people speaking. This problem even nokias basic phone is not having
2. Even though it has 2600 mah battery it never lasted for a day atleast.. i always have dim brightness, and use 3g only when required, but then too it drains
3.many unwanted samsung apps... Who needs it? Samsung should concentrate in thinking what people really wants.
4. Even though heating problems are normal in all phones now a days, this heats up quickly
5. One good thing is.. i got kitkat update
6. I am using htc and sony along with this mobile, i would say samsung camera and music is not good compared to sony or htc.
Over all i would suggest that u go for samsung only if i are new to smartphones.. or else go for sony m2 or htc one mini

Is any budy face battery charging in grand 2 after kitkat update. I updated my grand 2 in service center after facing battery charging problem. When plugged charger battery percentage not increase. When we reboot then battery charging starts. Also some users get 21 mb update after kitkat but still my grand 2 not receive any update. Says already latest update installed. Please help!

iam wounder of the ppl 2 month ago saing (( plzzzz we need kitkat update plzzz samsung do it )) and they rushed the updates now they are saying ohh plz its sucks let downgrade to 4.3 :) dumbs

Madz18, 05 Aug 2014guys i own a samsung grand 2 (dual sim) since july 1 2014, my phone charge for 5hrs max turned... morei have the same prblm with charging....
it gets charged from 0 to 90% in 3 hrs and den after 90 it takes half an hour to reach 91 to 92 %..pls someone tell me is there any prblm with my device or it is just due to low power supply...

Did anybody tryed the genxt kitkat flash for ur grand 2.. want to know howz d ov... moreSome changes are there like the notification bar's color is changed to blck nd white... you can get the theme of the music you are playing on the lock screen... the display has become a bit vibrant... but there are issues that make the kitkat update not worthy... you should remain on jellybean and check tjis site regularly so that you can install kitkat when it becomes perfect....!!
