i purchased samsung grand 2 when that launched in india. no problem was occurring till before update to kitkat. from some days ago i updated kitkat os on my phone through service center and then some new problem started. first is home button. when i press long on home button then it shows some weird work like open s-voice maximum time and doesnot show task manager for kill the application. then i closed s-voice through advance menu. but when phone is locked and i wake up the phone through home button then button is not working during the press. phone light up after two or three time press the home button. after the wake up the phone home button work properly else its weird performance of looong press. one more problem is occurred last night. i am Pinterest and chrome browser through wifi in my home. i closed the wifi of phone and go to sleep. when i woke up in morning the phone battery drain to 1% ridiculously. how can it be possible that remaining 50% of battery of my phone is drained in one night without using the phone. please help me to get solved this

dev, 29 Jul 2014i updated my grand 2 kitkat 4.4 after update i am facing a huge battery problem ,hang problem ... moreDo factory reset or hard reset. To do hard reset - turn off device and hold volume up +home key + power button simultaneously until u see Samsung logo. Then use volume button to move cursor and power button to select.

Afro, 29 Jul 2014Pls dini are u seriously not experiencing any lag or issues after upgrade to kitkat? Yes am not facing any lags. It's working fine. The only issue is that I can't change lock screen wallpaper whn ripple effect is enabled.

Galaxy grand 2 is a good cell phone but I am facing voice distortion during call although the signals are full. .do your phone also do that...I have also replace the sim but same problem. ..have their any solution for this. .???

an... moreThe phone is awsm dude. But u hav to upgrade ur software update from Samsung service center. Dont do at home. No lag nd hang. Phn is like butter in kitkat 4.4.

I'VE Upgraded my grand 2 to kitkat from Samsung Care They said that never upgrade at home u got problem nd bugs.
My phone is working awsm in kitkat. Upgrade is free of cost.
